A small part of me would get some enjoyment out of seeing them win a final before Essendon do, just for the lols. Mind you, I wouldn't have changed last year's script for them either - that was funny as heck! In the top8 for the entire season up until losing to the Pies by a solitary point in the 2nd last game of the final round.

I've heard and read some BS in footy, but that was top level. Had nothing to do with his contracted 7 figures.

Bloke got paid $900k from Hawks last year to tour the world (yet now he hates us!)

He has fleeced North of circa $1m to coach what say 8 game this year?

So let's call it close enough to $2 million dollars over 2 years to coach 8 game of footy...wow.

I said it years ago - he is Sheedy mark 2, a bloke so full of himself from past glories (that I am not discounting at all) but is now a deluded self promoting flog, trying to hold onto relevance.

He will be a disaster for North and after a decade of pain he will only prolong their status quo.

Finally - thank goodness we finally pushed him out the door, a few years too late, but in Mitchell you can see what new ideas can do to a club.

It feels like one of those years where every final will be an absolute wildcard and almost all of the 8 could win the flag* so I’m really hoping for Geelong and Essenscum to not be there.
