We played finals in 2018. I am extremely confident we will play finals again before 2028.

Didn't win one though and haven't since 2015. It will likely get to a decade without a finals win unless our improvement next year is enormous to go from 16th to winning a final.

You seem to be promoting tanking because that’s what the conversation is about. We know there were some retrospectively poor list decisions but we still drafted and recruited well in the later part of that period. Tanking wouldn’t have made a difference and we should be glad we never did it.

Yeah that’s where our observations would differ. Plenty of decisions at the time that we’re driven by ego. Some had merit others didn’t.

I’m happy North won and Clarko gets another win in the final round of the season.

That said retrospectively it hasn’t been good for us and given it may cost North picks 1 and 2 you could say the same about their result today.

They should be winning this game if there serious about finals. Been very poor and only bad kicking for goal is keeping it close. Also goes to show you don't need big forwards to take marks inside 50. Just have guys who know what they are doing down there.

The list management has a lot to do with the winning culture. Neither us or Clarko have done a lot of winning of late.

The attitude doesn’t win you games if you don’t have the cattle. Take a look at the number of players we have turned over in the past 3 years.
