Having had it a few times, I can't express how debilitating it can be.

FWIW, for anyone on this board who gets diagnosed with it, I found acupuncture to be the fastest method for clearing it up.

Check your shoes also. I wrecked my pf by doing the whole ‘minimalist’ sole thing about a decade back. Osteo sorted it out and once I got a better suited shoe for my foot it got better over time.

Milne was an out an out goal hungry forward. Barely tackled or laid defensive pressure at all but that was probably what he was in the team to do at the time. Today's footy he would be told he has to have more of a balance in his game. If Cyril played like Milne he would have kicked alot more goals just through sheer freakish ability.

Yeah Cyril’s unselfishness was a reason I guess so many didn’t have him in the top tier. He could’ve been a 40-50 goal a year forward if he didn’t dish so many off.
There was no stats for some of the things he did. I’d love to see in this day and age with all the champion data stats how many obscure ones he would be ahead in. I feel like it would be a lot.


I dunno I like Stephen Milne for how clinical he was. He wasn’t bad for a player when you consider he basically had no physical attributes that were elite besides acceleration and even that is questionable.

Glad we didn't chase Perryman or even Smith last year. Much better to go for the cream. The better we go this year the more attractive we are for the premium pre-agents. We will also have some quality players who can't get a regular game in the firsts as trade capital.

It'll be very interesting to see which, if any, players want to leave Hawthorn for more opportunities if we have another strong season.

Carlton coteries have clearly worked the press since it broke. This is a prime footy scandal and sex sells yet the press has been mostly silent about it. If a player had done this we would never hear the end of it for a few weeks. Painfully obvious that he wasn't hacked - how he is so far keeping it this quiet defies belief.

Horrible. I saw David Schwartz do his third knee in a practice game. Hearing his yelling and punching the tin dugout walls was scarring. Horrible for anyone

He played as an actual full forward, not just a forward, during the latter part of his career. In his youth (before my time but from what I read) he played forward pocket while Peter Crimmins filled the first rover spot. He kicked 11 as a rover one day and 11 as a forward years later.

Peter Daicos has to be right up there as the best small forward ever, probably only behind Matthews. And Kevin Bartlett was outstanding as a half forward in the latter years of his career; he kicked 21 goals in three finals in 1980!

The second lot of 11 he kicked against Melbourne where he'd kicked 10 to half time, and the coach moved him to the back pocket, to stop the team from looking for him and instead go for the best available option. He kicked his 11th goal running forward from the back pocket. It was in round 1 as well, thought... we're in for a good year...

A recruit from a Western Victoria club has supposedly been enjoying his time this off season, and is refusing to change his image to his new friends in this regional city.
Supposedly it's become such an issue that he is arriving late for training now, even with this clubs 'amazing culture'

I'm sure this player will cotton on to what might happen if he doesn't change his ways

Interesting. Speaking to a Bulldogs staffers over the weekend. They could not wait to see the back of him. Fair to say there's more going on there than even the media has reported.
