A taser was mentioned 🤔

They like to keep things under control and peaceful in the big hotels and resorts. At a wedding of about 50 I went to over there, some of the guests had an argument and ended up under house arrest confined in separate rooms with guards posted at the doors.

Finally, her family will get their daughter back in the sense they always knew she didn't commit suicide. The record will be corrected and he'll be held accountable.

What a monster he is.

Keith Lees, already convicted of a separate murder, was arrested at a property in Dural in Sydney’s northwest after a year and a half on the run and following a public appeal to find him.

Police will allege the now-72-year-old murdered Ms Rose in 1997. Her body was found at the base of the 30m Point Cartwright Cliffs at Mooloolaba.

An insurance policy was taken out for Ms Rose, which was not valid for suicide for 13 months. The disability support worker and Young Australian of the Year nominee was murdered three days after the waiting period was up, it is alleged.

Mr Lees had been in a relationship with the 25-year-old at the time of her death, and allegedly claimed a benefit of more than $200,000.

Christmas Cake Arsenic Deaths yarn

Ms Moraes told how, within hours of tucking in, her sister in law Maida Bernice Flores da Silva, 58, Neuza Denize Silva Dos Anjos, 65, and Neuza's daughter Tatiana Silvia Dos Santos, 43, were all dead - and authorities later revealed traces of deadly arsenic were found in their bodies.

Zeli and her 10-year-old great nephew Mateus,Tatiana's son, were also taken ill and rushed to hospital.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Maida's sister-in-law Isabel said: 'Zeli is horrified by what's happened. She is overcome with guilt because it was her cake that caused the tragedy, but we keep telling her not to worry and that it was an accident.

A woman is fighting for life with a gunshot wound to the centre of her back sustained in an apparent attack on the Gold Coast.

I know this is a bit off-topic but I would personally like if women were not being shot at in Australia or more specifically, in Queensland.

What I find particularly abhorrent in this case and in Chloe Mason’s case is the idea of a woman being shot in the back as she is attempting to run. As a society, we must do better to protect these young women.

Being shot is only one fate women of any age might experience.

The Wisconsin woman, who at age 12 conspired with a friend to brutally stab a classmate to please fictional horror character “Slender Man”, is well enough to be released from a psychiatric hospital, a judge ruled Thursday.

Morgan Geyser, 22, has spent nearly seven years inside the Winnebago Mental Health Institute and is now ready to be moved to a group home where her mental health will be continue to be monitored, according to Waukesha County Circuit Judge Michael Bohren.

Three medical experts testified on Thursday that Geyser has made considerable progress, convincing Judge Bohren that she doesn’t pose a safety risk outside hospital walls.

He's so young.

The knife nearly went all the way through her body.

Incomprehensible.

There are some very, very traumatised and violent children in Qld communities, and it’s incredibly sad.

There’s a reason why there’s an adult crime, adult time law in Qld now, because that state has a youth crime problem that is off the charts.

However, the new law doesn’t cover the charge of attempted murder, so the 13 year old in this situation, if found guilty will likely be given a short stay in a detention centre with a pool and some video games, and be taken for group excursions to the barrier reef.

Then he’ll be back in community, although hopefully the authorities will move him to a different community to the one he was in when the incident occurred.

I feel so dreadfully sorry for the Coles worker, because it’s every worker’s worst nightmare to go to work one day or one night and not come home to their family. I hope she pulls through, but who knows what her quality of life will be like even if she does “make it.”

Does anyone have any information about motive or is it too fresh, to soon?

So he'll get out of jail after a short time and they'll force supermarkets to keep knives in a special cabinet next to the spray paint.
I would bet the farm he was already out on bail at the time of the offence.

It’s a bit rough when it’s up to the community to chase down and apprehend a person who’s allegedly unlawfully wounded and attempted allegedly to murder another person. IMO

I hope the authorities in QLD recognise the bravery of those civilians, and I hope the witnesses and civilians realise there is a victims of crime payout process which can help witnesses and others with costs for counselling and medical expenses associated with what they’ve been through.

I will have a look at the mall map to see how far it was from Coles to Kmart, where he was reportedly chased and held down by civilians.

Ok, so there are 8 shop fronts and a storage allotment between Coles and Kmart at Yamato Central.
