What's going on in Logan? A 36yo man has been charged with attempted murder after setting a woman on fire.

Logan isn’t a very nice area. Noted for high crime rate, especially youth crime.
36 is not exactly a youth. but given my understanding of the suburb he may have a couple of kids in their teens

What sort of life do these kids have living with a male has such poor anger control that he would set fire to another person?

And what were is parents like that he would consider this action as a resolution to his problems?

I know it wasn’t youth crime, but Logan is generally not a desirable address.

I watched Dear Zachary last night and it was so touching. Such a tragic story about a beautiful family. Be warned - if you watch it have a box of tissues handy!

Update on the Tallebudgera shooting:

Police allege Linley Anyos, 33, was shot in the southern suburb of Tallebudgera on January 8.

Inspector Mooney said a 49-year-old man who police deemed a “person of interest” had been arrested in Victoria on unrelated weapons charges.

The Queensland State Emergency Service helped police find a modified double-barrel shotgun and spent cartridge near the scene, both of which are being analysed.

Ms Anyos has had parts of organs removed from her body, but she has now been moved from the intensive care unit of Gold Coast University Hospital to a ward and is in a stable condition.

Police say the shotgun in question was unlicensed.

Well, here's some information.
Justice is served when someone breaks into your home and they end up injured, in custody or dead.

If he'd broken in bare handed, you might have questions, but take a deadly weapon in, and.....consequences.
People are not going to say " excuse me sir , why are you in my house with a machete " they either run or attack.
