Speaking of singlets and... nipples.

I've been into Rebel lately- why the absolute **** can you not buy tight fitting gym singlet tops?? There is literally none.
Its either- crop tops (er no thank u I dont have the body for that) or loose af tops.

I want a tight fitting singlet top with a built in bra ffs.

try lulululululululemon?

speaking of sporting apparel I met the founder of 2xu today. terrific bloke.

Did an assignment on them at Uni once. Hope they don’t become overly commercialised and shit quality.

My best friend does muay thai, she fights at least a couple of times a year and she's doing a class on Sundays for women free of charge.

Holy hell my lats are killing me, I'm not used to doing cardiovascular workouts and having sore muscles. Feels like I've been doing heavy rows and weighted pull ups :tearsofjoy: Makes me appreciate the sport so much more, didn't realise how technical it got.

Is this is the right spot for sporting apparell?

I bought a pair of NB runners a few days ago which fit my foot really well, but they give me a burning sensation on the bottom of my foot. I'm used to wearing cheap ass runners so just wondering has anyone else got running shoes that give them burning feelings under the feet?

I wore NB runners (worked retail were given them for free) i have a narrow foot and they gave me horrible lower back pain.

Id get checked out in general see what shoe you should be wearing..

If you have a spare couple of hundred lying around it isn’t the worst idea to see a podiatrist who can then recommend brands to suit your walking/running style.

New Balance was recommended for me. Something about forefoot pressure. Jokes on him - I never run. (Or jokes on me, when I die of a heart attack at 28).

I also have that sensation too, or acute sharp pain, bottom of foot after running or even jogging in mine. Sometimes I find cause laces are too tight.

all the best mate.

That's why i now have brisk walks instead. Well that's my excuse anyway

I was off work on Thursday and Friday with a virus. Last night I was feeling better so I decided to go to CrossFit after having almost a week off. Nothing like a workout to let you know that you're not fully well. We had a 14 minute workout and I was suffering after a few minutes and was sweating buckets.

Naughty rask.

Never do that. My general rule is "when im better" + a couple of days extra until i go back to the gym.

That's the thing about having an app that tells you what the workout is in advance. I always think, "I really want to do that workout". Sometimes my poor judgment gets the better of me.

Having said that tho.. i have gone too early to the gym sometimes.

I remember being on the treadmill, was weak as a kitten, could barely last half an hour, packed it in and went home. You gotta be well.

I expect to fully pay the price tonight at the gym for staying up to 1:30 this morning drinking

Ive gone to gym and stretched then gone home

Same :tearsofjoy:

I've warmed up then thought, yeah nah, and left a number of times due to illness.

instagramers..... have noticed someone who used to train with the same trainer i had a few years ago. she's on IG and takes selfies, promotes gym clothing brands, and is recorded performing exercises etc. She describes how it's done and technique, form etc. Only training she's received is via a PT

If they’re completely different (in the realms of running shoes) to what you’ve been used to then there will be an adaption period.

Some people think that's weak. I say its sensible.

I do that when I’m healthy too :tearsofjoy:

I have a mental block when it comes to training back and legs at night. I just can’t. The idea of compound movements when I’ve finished work wreck me.

I then just switch to something chill like arms or shoulders mid-way hehe.

I admitted recently to my former trainer that that night i wanted to do shoulders so i could sit down.

Im typing this as i sit on my spikey roller
