Announced yesterday Adelaide will host back to back ATP 250/WTA 500 tournaments in the two week prior to the Aus Open.

With the first week clashing with the new teams comp and then the second week being the week before a Grand Slam I'm not expecting great fields but happy to have the two weeks of tournaments.

I presume Dohr and Chennai are still on in the first week of the year with Adelaide and the teams comp?

No vaccination is required to enter Australia - And if it was, it is redundant because most got their last shot 12 months and many in the under 30 cohort are being advised to not have any more shots.

No one will be as big as Osaka and Serena, in the US market anyway.

Coco Gauff in a couple of years looks like she will take up that mantle.

The International Tennis Federation is ending its Davis Cup partnership with the private investment group Kosmos Tennis.

Not sure what this means for the Davis Cup. The BJK Cup has a similar format now as well, and that was without the Kosmos group.
