Heard that a couple weeks ago that this could happen. RE sons of past players.

In the same conversation the name Grant Fagan was mentioned as coach next year
 
I'll be interested to see how many quit the club over that. The players are very p'd off with the board.
I'm hearing the board was 50/50 on the issue with Wade spouting off that he would quit as president if Ryan was reappointed.
Sounds to me like there's a whole bunch of internal disharmony over at the "roolanders" (who came up with that cringeworthy term anyway?).
One bad decision can affect a club for years to come, and although you'd hope it doesn't, it's Clarence so it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch if it does!!!
Could've sworn I heard Ryan was being linked with the Lauderdale coaching position left vacant after Christensen left to coach Hobart? 🤔

Maybe Richmond could get Ryan and a hand full of unhappy Clarence players. Great way to turn their club around

I did hear from someone from Richmond they were talking to someone from Clarence to coach. This was well before Ryan not being reappointed, said player wanted more money for an assistant coach. Not sure who the player was

Question for the board regulars - would you prefer this board become a sub-board of the Tasmania Devils forum up in the main clubs section?

The reasoning is that it would bring more people together on the Tasmanian football topics.

The link that sits in the TD board would be moved here, so that people could always find the TSL and regional threads from this state and regional leagues section.
