8. What competition have you enjoyed the most this year? (From the Designathalon to the NAFL, but not inclusive) FIRA was fun, I hadn't entered it for a while but it was worth it.

10. If you could change one thing from the FJGD board, what would it be? Introduce more design tutorials for sure.

9. What has been the best thing Gibbsy & Red Crow has done to this board since he became MOD? Just being active participants on board whether that's in designing or discussing. You get your mods who are quite distant which is understandable, but Gibbsy and RedCrow just come across as just regular posters with the same passion for jumpers and graphic design.
10. If you could change one thing from the FJGD board, what would it be? Just have more people around so we can pump up some of these numbers in the competitions.

3. Relationship status? Recently single and still tryna get over it LOL

4. Paint/PhotoShop/Illustrator? Photoshop, would use AI but I’m too used to PS and I find it easier

5. What is your earliest footy memory? Probably watching the 07 Grand Final (I was a pies fan so I was more upset about the previous week)

6. Why do you support your footy team? I was born into a Collingwood family, however was getting fed up with the team and Port had earned a lot of my respect over 2013 and 14 to the point where I was a little upset about Port losing the prelim. 12 year old me also liked the colours and thought Chad Wingard was going to be the greatest of all time so I changed to Port. I wanted to change when I was like 3 or 4 but wasn’t allowed at the time

7. Outside of footy, what is your favourite sport? Gotta be basketball, then cricket

8. What competition have you enjoyed the most this year? Haven’t been as active in previous years but I always enjoyed the NAFL the most

9. What has been the best thing Gibbsy has done to this board since he became MOD? I was never here pre-Gibbsy becoming a mod however he always seems to be on top of things around here which is good

10. If you could change one thing from the FJGD board, what would it be? I’d probably want to see more activity within the threads for the league comps

(An essay is allowed in this question, but is not compulsory) I’d make all teams revamp their uniforms to have a light set and a dark set, and then any subsequent special kits. At the beginning of the season teams would designate one as their default home kit and opposition teams would have to wear whatever contrasts most from what the home team is wearing

21. What are your favourite TV shows? Not a huge fan of shows, however I just watched Sunmer Heights High and Angry Boys and they were great

22. What are you favourite movies? Sheesh, been a while since I watched a movie. I wouldn’t have a clue unfortunately

23. What are your favourite bands? Brockhampton (if you couldn’t tell from the profile pic) and Injury Reserve, I’m big on hip hop and there aren’t many bands in hip hop so they’re the two groups I like most

I may look at it again in the future, but the original guidelines are far harder to be met now as there are far fewer templates that are being mass used with so many moving to their own ones. This would cause the biggest problem as it would be easier for people to identify designers which was not an issue when the Designathon originally ran.

I was born into footy loving family, who mostly supported Carlton, so yeah you could say I supported Carlton but I always held sympathies to every other club, especially Melbourne. Anyway, my Uncle got me onto Brisbane, I took it and ran. But around 2012 and 2013 I wanted to pick my own team. Having always liked the Demons I leant towards them, however, wasn't just ready. Michael Voss was sacked at Brisbane and that was it. I wanted my own team, and one none of my family supported and now I support Melbourne.
7. Outside of footy, what is your favourite sport? It has to be Cricket, Soccer and Hockey.
8. What competition have you enjoyed the most this year? FIRA was great. The games would usually come up whenever I'd be in a dull morning classroom and made it a habit to vote at that time of the day.

(An essay is allowed in this question, but is not compulsory) A jumper that does not have the same shade/darkness/colour as the oppositions home jumper (70% rule). If a jumper needs to be designed especially for a matchup that needs to be done. I would also like to see teams go to a secondary or tertiary colour, before settling on a white jumper (unless their second colour is white. As for shorts, team with the dark jumpers to wear dark shorts, and light colours to wear light shorts. And royal to be considered as light jumpers (eg, v Richmond).

Indoctrinated into the Blues from my Dad's side. Have however been a Crows member for longer in my life than the Blues, as Mum goes for Crows. Always stuck with Blues though.

Soccer and Tennis are the main ones, getting into NFL but I'll genuinely watch anything as long as it's not rugby.

I personally love the white shorts rule. Use the home guernseys if the contrast is clear, otherwise use your clash kit. Geelong can use their white home kit with navy shorts and the away team can work around them, unless the away team's home design is majority navy. Then white shorts to Geelong, full navy for a Carlton/Adelaide/Melbourne etc.

Used to do a lot of creative freelancing in video, audio and now in graphic design, but have worked in warehousing over the past few years. Majority of my time since uni, outside of the COVID-19 crisis, has been dedicated to working with local NSW Suburban Rugby Union club Briars Rugby as their matchday DJ and volunteer graphic designer since 2015.

4. Why have you chosen to go post on Bigfooty?
Great and active community with like-minded designers and footy fans (of all codes).

5. How'd you find the FGD Board?
Stumbled across it years ago when I was super-active in designing guernseys and jerseys and have been a member since 2013.

6. What is your local footy league?
AFL Sydney - we're right on the border of Swans and Giants territory. Swans play some games at sub-AFL level at Drummoyne Oval which is in the same LGA as Concord (the City of Canada Bay) but our local junior team is the Concord Giants, formerly the Cats, who compete against the Drummoyne Power.

In league (the sport my dad born me into), we're in Balmain/Wests Tigers junior territory. Wests train at Concord Oval and our local club, Concord-Burwood Wolves, play down the road from me at Goddard Park, and also play at sub-NSW Cup levels, sometimes amalgamated with the reborn Glebe Dirty Reds.

In union, Wests Junior Rugby Union. The team I volunteer with, Briars, are in the NSW Subbies Rugby system, believed to be the largest "centrally administered" rugby union in the world. At higher levels in Subbies are the Drummoyne Dirty Reds also at Drummoyne, and Wests field the West Harbour Pirates in the Shute Shield state-level union.

7. What is your greatest accomplishment?
In league, refereeing 2 junior grand finals as an in-goal judge (basically a flagless touchie who patrols the dead ball line, you would have seen them in the NRL Nines this year and in the Winfield/Optus Cup days before video referees) at Leichhardt Oval. In union, seeing the Briars make the Grand Final last year and, even though we lost, getting promoted from Div 4 to Div 3 this year. Either that, or me and my Dad getting on ABC TV in 2001 at a West Harbour game in our Rabbitohs jerseys, with Brett Papworth commenting "the Bunnies are back? Are they playing rugby now? Good for them!".
