Anyone else hear Lids being interviewed on SEN this arvo? He mentioned that Gourdis was definitely being considered as he has some considerable speed. Also mentioned that he is out of the running (cool pun) due to having some work done on his knee after he broke off a little of his cartlidge during WC game.

Lids won in 05, Axel was 2nd in 06 and jake king won it last year.

before that i think we had princess fiona run and he got smashed and didn't win his heat!

King won it in 2007
Deledio won it in 2006

2008 is the year of the White Lightning - Matty White!

The best part of Grand Final Day for loyal Tiger Fans!!!!!!!

fev won it when they brought in handicaps it was stupid
deledio on radio said he would love to run in it but has just had
his knee cleaned up (from west coast game) had floating cartledge and wont be running by then but nominate Gourdis said his incredibly quick

tambling, gourdis, Jackson, Moore or JON

Jackson runs a 100 about as quick as lids, high 10's (or used to anyway) Moore is very very quick as well.

It's kinda nice to have so many options!
Axel, White, Lids & even Richo (lol) are all speedy as well...

Go back a couple of years when our mids/runners were:

Coggs, Campbell, Hyde, Krak, Chaff, Johnson, Flemming!
(No wonder we chipped it around with some of these guys.)

The last 3 runners were:

2005: Brett Deledio 1st
2006: Nathan Foley 2nd
2007: Jake King 1st

Matt White is running in 2008 and he will win - they pick the handicap with 20m sprint times and his was comparitively slow so he'll start in front of everyone else and win.

Daniel Jackson ran in the 20m sprint in 2004 I think and went quite good.
