I doubt any rookie will play 20+ games actually. Shiel, Treloar, Cameron or Coniglio might...but don't bank on it

What on earth does that have to do with the topic?

And what's the point of telling stuff that 100% of half serious Dream Team players already know? Videos on youtube about Dream Team aren't going to get views from ordinary people who are looking for advice about Dream Team. They'll go to blogs & Dr. Dream Team (although the Doc is dreadful). And if your target audience (serious Dream Team players) already knows what your trying to say, then what's the point?

Hey guys, forgive me if this is an ignorant question or if I missed it earlier. But ive not seen anyone mention Dom Tyson...

I liked the look of him from what I saw pre draft, good size, clean disposal, moves well in congestion and accumulates good numbers.

How is he tracking preseason wise and how many games is he likely to get this year, in your opinion(s)?

Cheers guys, and feel free to hit me with Demons queries.

Great videos until you said Lake wouldnt get a game... If he's fit, he'll play all. Not a great SC option anymore because this year he'll need to defend, but saying he wont get a game is rediculous. He was the AA FB one season ago, when 100% fit.

How is Dom Tyson travelling? I see everyones picking Clifton, Cogniglio, Shiel over him.

Nothing has been said about him from camp GWS. I have a feeling he is going to be the odd man out of the midfield and unless he finds a position on the half-forward/half-back line might not be too involved (just speculation). Though a lot of people said he is more AFL ready than Cogs.

Intraclub game is tomorrow so might know then.

I find it interesting how players like Dom Tyson will end up, since if he went to any other team as the No. 3 pick, they would be ecstatic about it and he would be getting a ton of publicity. I can't help but think players in that situation will either thrive without the pressure.... or be looking for a better opportunity.

Being almost $70,000 more than players like Shiel, Clifton and Miles also rules Dom out of calculations.

I think Tyson (I keep trying to call him Tom Dyson, a much more sensible name :p) may be a bit of a surprise. I'd actually rate him in the top group of our rookie midfielders going into this year but that's my rankings, not the club's. Until the NAB Cup and the Round 1 team gets named, I'm not sure of anyone's position yet.

For the record, my guess at the first rookie cabs off the rank will be a combination of Coniglio, Tyson, Shiel, Treloar, Clifton and maybe a couple of the other 17 year olds (up in the air which put their hands up).

According to the hun this will be Sheedy's likely round one line up:

B Tomas Bugg, Tim Mohr, Chad Cornes
HB Luke Power, Phil Davis, Adam Kennedy
C Rhys Palmer 22, Callan Ward, Adam Treloar
HF Curtly Hampton, Jeremy Cameron, Nathan Wilson
F Setanta O'Ailpin, Israel Folau, Devon Smith
R Dean Brogan, James McDonald, Tom Scully
INT Jonathan Giles, Dylan Shiel 18, Stephen Coniglio, Steve Clifton

And if that's on the money then of our early round draft picks only Smith and Coniglio are getting a run first up.
But I should also say that Sheedy's team, the team Williams actually picks might be completely different ;)

Ask your Supercoach & DT questions here rather than other random threads.
Hi, does anyone have or know where I can get hold of a spreeadsheet with all players in DT 2012 and their positions and prices? Being visually impaired, I find that easier than trying to use the DT website to pick my team. Cheers

Try asking for it on the DT Board. They would be more likely to know if one exists. :thumbsu:

I could easily see that being our team. Looks pretty solid, but I'm sure there's going to be some smokeys coming out of the NAB Cup.

After the intraclub I would say Mohr is probably a certainty to play FB. Giles is pushing Brogan and at least will obviously play when Brogan doesn't but might force his way in. They had Setanta and Folau rucking a bit so maybe they might not take two rucks into games?

I think Coniglio, Smith and Hampton should be in the best 18 with Clifton very close. Can't give much more than that. Next week will be interesting.

Who do you guys think are odds on to be the best fantasy scoring rooks for GWS?

ATM I'm seriously considering Kennedy, Treloar, Adams, Hampton, Giles, Shiel and Miles. Just trying to decide which ones to take into round 1?

Cheers.

At this point I think you'll have to wait until the NAB Cup to get a meaningful answer rather than the usual names mentioned a number of times in this thread and elsewhere (and you've covered most if not all of them).
