Same as you Blackshadow!! Can't wait to see Neil Young!!

Will definitely be trying to get ticks for the Melbourne Sidney Myer Music Bowl shows.. Not sure about BDO, but that would be awesome! (if other rumoured act AC/DC appear as well, I will definitely be there!!!)

Seeing the Matches in a couple of weeks.

Picked up a copy of "Decomposar" for $2 at Dixons a few months back.

Been listening to it a bit of late. Pretty cool album. :thumbsu:

yes but there is Jason Bonham who did the drumming for zeppelin during the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert in 2007 so there is hope.

Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks have picked up the slack with The Allman Brothers and yours truly did some embarrassing of himself of late oversea's with Tony Banks and Paul Carrack. A Manchester boy and an Aussie in L.A....Anything is possible.

One out of left field is Foreigner. I'd love for Gagliardi, Gramm and Jones to get together again, even for an argument. It'd be worth listening to. :)

Saw Disturbed (with Alter Bridge) last night at Festival Hall. Somehow managed to get home without finding out the result to watch the replay, but we won't go there. Ripper concert :thumbsu:

Absolutely love Derek Trucks! Saw him with Eric Clapton's band.. absolutely awesome! Fantastic slide player, arguably outshone Slowhand. Got a couple of his album too, very nice! :thumbsu:

He would be brilliant to see live esspecially to hear him sing Old Man, thats my favourite song of his.

Booked my tickets to Falls yesturday morning, 2nd time around this year. Loved it last year.

Not that any kind of sweetener is required when Neil Young is making a visit to this part of the world, but I should just point out that the support for the tour will be the f***ing amazing US band, My Morning Jacket.

This show is now officially beyond essential.

I'm disturbed to read that you actually PAID for a CD TOD!

What gives? I thought artists and record companies paid you to listen in and report!

Sadly, those days are mostly behind me, TT.

Especially since I contracted the terrible CBF disease a few years back.

So much music to listen to, so little time to crap on about it.

Thankfully, these music-related BF threads take the edge of the feelings of 'music writer cold turkey' that I have been known to experience from time to time.

By the sound of things, one more freebie CD could've meant you'd be sleeping outside anyway, due to a lack of free floorspace inside.

Good call. Yeah, me or the kid.

(Hey, I was intending to make him up a nice comfy bed out there.)
