So cops keep Alex Bone silent for 51 yrs and what he says when he ignores them and speaks up is cops were blocked by SACA from searching for the girls

Where is it suggested that it was the cops who kept Alex Bone silent for 51 years and how old was Alex at the time the girls went missing?

Basic policing and reporting would list the people of key importance... which he would be given he was with the family that day. the fact he has not appeared in any formal police report/inquest - or media, nor has he been revealed to Suzie Ratcliffe who has maintained a request for information for at least a decade - is akin to being silenced, or hidden/shielded.
How does Suzie Ratcliffe not know he existed?

Unless he had critical information, it probably wasn't relevant and I don't think anybody is entitled complete access to police files. He may also have been a minor at the time?

It seems odd though that Joanne's family didn't say anything about him being there on the day.

How long they looked for the girls, where they looked, who/what they saw around the oval as they looked for the girls as the only people who knew they werent where they were supposed to be. He was 13, same age as kilmartin, and old enough to be taken by police to help with the search outside the oval... and his dad waa encouraging of him giving information.
Kirstes family have been pretty silent throughout.
Alex has tried to speak to police as a man in his 50s and 60s and they ignore him.
Think youll find its the content of what he says, not who is saying it, that is the issue for police and their SACA buddies

You dont consider at all possible some level of cover up when police dont mention for 50 yrs the person with the most information of activites around the oval while specifically asking about girls b4 anyone knew they were missing?
And not mentioning he travelled with police looking for the girls as the most likely to be able to identify them?
And not going to the inquest, or mentioned in it, as an 18 yr old?
Who stood to suffer reputational damage from what he said took place? SAPOL and the SACA.... aka the "boys club"

Sounds like this goes all the way to the top of Big Cricket.

I'd think the fact he was there should have been information the girls families and inner circle held in the first place, they have always known. It wasn't a secret.

If police really wanted to get into search they could have saca wouldn’t have had any authority over police.

Do you have a link to the police stating that they were blocked?
SA Police admitting they didnt do their job properly, that they were stopped from looking for them by brown coats? Think your question answers the question of why police have kept Alex hidden
The problems getting a message across the AO PA is mentioned in this thread and other places, I don't see how it's a groundbreaking revelation.
The fact police looking for lost girls in the oval grounds werent allowed to look in a large section of those grounds, or the fact therr was a 7th and 8th member of the group from which

Precisely. So do you believe Alex when he says police were stopped from looking? Is it possible a whole large section of the oval was not searched by police, or the family members first looking for the girls while they were potentially still at the oval before they were abducted?

Given Alex has not been mentioned by police ever, but rode with 2 of the 4 he says turned up to do the initial search, I do believe him.... because I expect police and the SACA to want to keep that point quiet.

Powerful people, the most powerful in the State, were in bed with the SACA in those days.... quite literally too!

So you think the girls were taken to the members stand?

Outrageous if true. No way would they have had the proper tickets.
SACA should look into it.

Only way you could have got into the members area is if you had the correct ticket.

Everybody still has to get out of the members area and to be sure, anybody who was in there would have heard about two missing girls and remembered if they saw them.

They weren't in there.

No. I dont strongly consider the girls were taken to the members stand. But, given I do believe Alex Bone saying the police were stopped by SACA from searching there until after the game, I think it cannot be ruled put that they were hidden there.

If they were, then it is much easier to contemplate it not being solved, and understand why police have not once shown enough interest in solving it to provide all the details.... for starters, that the girls were away from the adults for much longer than has ever been suggested. According to Alex, he and David Ratcliffe were sent to try to find them from at least half time of the game, if not earlier.

I cannot see that there was any chance of a shortage of holier than thou, above the law, mysoginistic,***** members, even leaders, back in that era who would be hellbent on protecting the inner sanctum and overall reputation.... just saying!

Who/what are "brown coats" Can you post a link to SAPOL stating this please?

Can you post a link to Alex Bone saying this please? There are several eyewitness accounts of the girls being taken from the stadium.

The truth is rarely as fanciful as that you almost have them in on it & in cover up mode as it's happening.

To me it's as silly as people believing how deep in Adelaide circles and organized 'The Family' were when the reality seems a few loosely associated people.. makes for good reading I guess.

"Rarely".... and it is rare, thankfully, to have 50 yr plus cold case crimes where 2 kids go missing from a spot with 10,000 people there and only 1 person sees the abductor's face.

And "rare" that there is corruption and cover ups... rare but not completely impossible.

As I say, i dont think the girls were taken to the SACA members, but I do think SACA was able to manipulate or coerse the information that was put to the inquest so to protect their elitist reputation.

I do think they stopped cops from going in there... and that could have proved critical. At least it would not provide for speculation now.

Upon what are you basing this opinion?

In hindsight, it was pointless searching the AO grounds. As they were snatched from outside a toilet block near the open gate. By the time any searching was going on, the trio was making its way along the Torrens.

And you know this, how? Not one part of that scenario can be confirmed by anyone but the abductor. No CCTV, just a handful of witness, the only confirmed ones being Kilmartin and possibly the groundsmen... and kilmartin suggests it was at one of the entry points to the oval (between stands) he saw them snatched, not by a toilet block

You sound more like a cop with each comment, btw.... not necessarily a good thing!
