Gold Coast - Have they turned the corner?

If they can beat West Coast and Richmond away and not lose at home.. that will put them on 13 wins and possibly 7th-8th spot.

But their next 3 home games are against good opposition so not certain wins.

Suns haven't beaten Port since McKenna was coaching against Primus at Football Park, back when the tarps were out in force.
Would be a statement if they broke that hoodoo next week, especially with Day and Miller out.

Gold Coast play like Geelong 2007/2008 at home... Up until now that is.....

Looks like Dimma has found the formula for winning away.

Has the AFL community mistakenly forgotten about the Suns?
They look like they are up a level in fitness but need to see against better opponents.

Three away wins in a row now:

Def. Essendon @ Marvel by 1 point
Def. Richmond @ MCG by 28 points
Def. West Coast @ Optus by 87 points (club record)

I want to see how we go against the Dees at the MCG in a fortnight from now before I start to really buy into the idea of turning the corner.

Did what good sides do to lowly teams in rounds 1 & 2, first big test against a rapidly improving and similarly placed Adelaide. Even if the result went against them they won plenty of admirers.

Kangaros (gather round, Adelaide), Tigers (Marvel) should btake care of business with Swans (home) in round 7 and Lions (away) in round 8 the real proving grounds for these not so young suns

Looking forward

Richmond (Marvel) likely win
