Brayden also looks like your quintessential 1970s porno star.

Apparently his on screen name is Buck Naked.
His parents must be so proud :(. I remember his debut game, the cameras (and Dermie) barely left him or his mum (attractive) and dad.

Brayden Crossley
The big ruckman certainly has some spunk about him with his slick hair and mustache. A member of the Gold Coast Suns Academy, Crossley played 10 senior games for the battling club, averaging six hit-outs and 9.4 disposals (at 69 per cent disposal efficiency). Isn’t one to shy away from the hard stuff, averaging more contested than uncontested possessions and laying 22 tackles on the whole. Will need time to learn but is developing nicely and already has a strong frame.
Always had a nose for trouble so it seems.

That’s right, you’ll never hear of a marquee player exposed ‘cause that would simply hurt the AFL brand. Surprised he hasn’t used the ever popular mental health issue defence.

Been on "Personal Leave" for the last few months on our injury list.

Once again I have to say it's time for the AFL to quit the WADA/ASADA code and if possible join together with the other big sporting leagues (NRL, NBL, A League etc) and create a drug policy that is fair and just.

He's not an Olympic athlete going up against the World, he's a young bloke getting 100k a year to play in the NEAFL against plumbers and chippies.

A 4 year ban is just way out of whack. A years ban would allow him to continue his career.
It's extreme. Totally agree.

Wondered what happened to this bloke, played some decent footy last year. Hyper-aggressive type, possibly the oldest-looking 18yo ever.

Re-defines the term 'man-child'.

I'm shocked to be sitting here.

Seriously though, four years for coke? What a crock of s**t.

Especially since we all know the stars get away with it.

Hope he threatens to pull a Hird and take them the High Court.

I know he is not a star but where is the 16 week calf injury or mental health/personal reasons?

It was on game day, right? So it's deemed performance enhancing, therefore 4 years.

First point that needs to be made is a distinction between this and the players who have received "strikes". It was, by the sound of it, a game day test and coke is presumably considered to be "performance enhancing". That being said, I doubt if he took it for that reason. More likely he'd been partying (snorting iot off a metre maid's bum crack most likely) and had some left in his system. Personally I don't think there's any relevance to "performance enhancing" from cocaine being a concern in footy, unlike athletics where a tiny edge in speed or strength can be the difference. The reason AFL players use it as a recreational drug is because the aerobic requirements of the game rule out alcohol. It should be their own business, imo, though they should be discouraged form playing around with addictive drugs and should be given support to get off them if they get addicted.

Maybe, but in the end you either comply with WADA or you don't. If the AFL wants to withdraw from that regime then that's their right, although it'll probably come with a hit to their credibility as well as probably a cut to government funding for any AFL programs.

Can’t believe some you pretty little b1tches have the audacity to comment negatively on his looks.

FYI - it’s your insecurity coming through Grow up.
