Looks like the coaches have been vindicated in their decision to not select McLaughlin for the senior team. Would have been pretty deflating for the young lad if he was picked to debut and played like this.

Reckon Hollands could be sub next week. A good mid/forward option. Tsitas is another option there.

Few tall defender options if we need too.

Even though the VFL team are playing well, I think only a few positions are really and legitimately up for grabs. The mid forward is the most likely one (sub or bench).

Probably correct but shouldn’t be.
Every position should be up for grabs depending on form.
Should take more than a good game or two to warrant call up however.

When he’s at the lower level and not under much pressure he looks great. Still don’t have much faith that he can step up as a regular senior player though.
