Wandella v Murrabit: Murrabit by 35 pts

Nully v Wakool: Nully by 10pts.

Moula v Hay: Hay by 14 goals

Quamby v Ultima: Quamby by 7pts

is this a joke? did you not watch the night series? its not the best indicator, but it is a good indicator that a not so strong ultima side pumped a full quamby side... ultima by 7 points would be a far more accurate prediction, but thats your opinion;)

Some good judges made comments about the bloke who featured on the back page of todays Guardian. Check out page 9 on this thread for all the talk prior to the season about the bloke who has taken over Derryn Hinch as 'The Human Headline'

Lets get back onto the topic of the new Moulamein coach, Jones I'm pretty sure his name is. If I remember correctly the Guardian stated that he had played representative footy in the Ballarat League and the Central Highlands footy league (minor league in Ballarat) which is not true at all. I have it from a very reliable source within the Ballarat area that this bloke that Moulamein is going nuts over has barely touched his own balls let alone the one we kick around on Saturdays. Another quality report by the Guardian.
Love your work Mr Lookalike, Im sure there were plenty of people being a little tight lipped during pre-season though. It has not panned out quite the way the Moula brains trust may have hoped but I believe that Travis Pryor will be a great leader of that club and they will deffinately move forward from here. Once again great call in march.:thumbsu:

How did Wakool go yesterday??
How did the gun recruits go esp Shane (money bags)Harvey and
Greg(ice man)Whelan.
Also can someone tell me whether Wakools 2nds coach Scott Robinson is playing???

Telstra 101 was not far off Dockers, but u got it pretty right. Close game all in all, any reason for the errant kicking at goal by the ROOS.

your a legend dockers, what a prediction..... 100% correct

well, dazza, i do know my footy... what i don't know is what samuel cleary got up too on saturday night... can anyone shed some light on the situation?

Who made it to the Saint's v Roo's game, I did and what an ordinary game of football it was, luckily it was close. In a nutshell, Ultima should have been 6 goals up a qtr time and in the end Quamby were stiff not to pinch it.

But actually what i want to talk about is the time keeping. What's with the game finishing at 4.15. I know it was low scoring but i've got a suspicion that we lost maybe 5 mins of each qtr???

Are you saying that the quaters went for 15 min + time on instead of 20 min + time on. I disagree.
It was a very low scoring game and the umpires let the play go and didnt ball it up many times at all, hence not much time on.:thumbsu:

How is Shaun "Carlton Banks" Lawry traveling? Great player whether on ball or up forward where he rarely misses the big sticks. I imagine he gets manned up fairly well.

Yeah not sure. Just was suprised by the finishing time. Had 3 or 4 VB's after the siren, was time to leave, looked at my watch and it was 5.15. Makes for a long evening.

yaaablett, no-one can get near him. Has bulked up in the off season (big weights regime) and is busting packs as well. Took him a couple of weeks to get used to the extra pace of the GRFL, but has since settled in enormously well. You boys bounced back well on the weekend, must have been the tuition the coach recieved on thursday night.

Totally agree that the qtrs seemed short. Have followed a few games this year and on saturday, by the time l grabbed 2 pies and a stubbie it was half time??? Maybe the league needs to resend intructions to all clubs to make sure. The mini's play for nearly the same amount of time.

from what i heard dockers, young samuel decided to stop making up stories about other team mates and thought he' go out there and create his own...

I think the reason why we are finishing early is because ther is no time on when a point is kicked anymore could be wrong thou

i would just like to quash all rumours surrounding the red bearded burbler (sam cleary), i can say that i witnessed him in bed at 10:00 on saturday night after a tough game

what is everyones thoughts on the "worst bloke" in the GRFL?

i would have to say tony parsons... i think he had an errection coming out of the showers at quamby on saturday, also he doesn't shut up on the feild and i wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with multiple broken noses by the end of the year!

Scott WARNER for mine. Highly overated footballer who is as soft as butter. Certainly didn't appreciate receiving a nice clean bump from PHELAN on the weekend. Wipe ya eyes princess or hit the netball courts.

To Roosta, why dont we nominate the BEST PERSON in the GRFL and make it a positive forum and leave the negative stuff to the CMFL or the "BIG LEAGUE" as they like to be known. We have some great people in this league, worthy of a mention.

Good work Pinhead. If you are going to bag someone out mate how about taking the time to learn how to spell his name. Made yourself look very bright there genius
