Nah they shouldn't need to there is showers predicted tonight and tomorrow. So the ground should be in good condition you would imagine.

Big Game for murrabit, not a good start to the season and last week with the bomber defenders on top (henry 1 goal and randell 0) Macorna would be looking to keep them quiet again while ***** will need to kick straight. 1-7 last week?

Moula and Nully another good game, bedgy with 10 last week will want to fire again and Smiths in the midle will have to rove Anderson all day i'd say!

he actually go 3,8. I belive your thinking of Buddy Franklin that got 1-7

Whats Leigh Morrissey like i see he has been cleared to Avoca from Quambatook??
Different. Has only played a handful of games over the last few years, when on song can be very handy, he's a big rig (6 3ish), massive thighs. Will park outside the ground and cut through a fence to avoid paying and is allergic to showering. Make sure the fridge is stocked up with milk.

Thanks for Info Snibs. Would he be any good in the Ruck or is a foward?

Would of, should of, could of, didn't. The league has set many a precedent, if Keith is doing his job Nully should be slapped with a $200 fine and loss of points (if they won)

I believe it is $500 fine for senior divisions $200 for junior, so fine them and lets get on with it. As far as Wakool go the league will give them a get out of gaol free card no doubt after all the hype they put out about them, and how great Harvey was and all the other dribble we had to listen to, and now Wakool are paying the price for not looking towards the future of their club.

they must have a bit of cash left over, OTT, because i reckon willie cossack wouldnt be playing for free and if the rumours are true that kerang offered him ove 1000 then he must be on quite a lot more at wakool?

I dont think finances are the problem out there it would appear that they have formed a reasonably new committee that weren't happy with the direction it was heading and are hoping to change a few things in the interest of the club, full credit to them. But it will be a massive job especially after the cash that was offered previous, everyone wants top dollar, and believe they will pay it no doubt, hopefully they can rectify things abit for the club but it will take a couple of seasons I'd say.

Moula showed some good form on the weekend, unfortunately it was brought back to a reserves style game due to possibly the worst umpiring I have ever witnessed, players taking marks being punched across the face, late not even anywhere near actual contest no fifty given, one player kicked in face accidental or not, no free kick, players thrown to ground well after disposal no down field, all day it was like ressies 20 years ago absolutely disgusting, it brought the standard of the GRFL to the level that the CMFL all believe that it is.
This display was only down one end of the field and was more than obvious that it was due to his personal dislike of the club the bias displayed against Moula on the weekend by one Stewart King ex president of Ultima was appalling an absolute disgrace it was so obvious his intention not to protect players in Red and White which I believe is his job (and paid by our clubs money well spent be joking) to keep the play clean and fair a genuine smear on our league. Witnessed by the league CEO but nothing will be said of course because we are short on umpires fair enough but if you want to attract decent players keep the league at a decent standard in orange as well.

On the track, as a player for the Ultima football club, and a friend of Stewart King, I find these comments harsh and misguided. Granted I wasnt at the game in question and cant comment on umpiring decisions, I can comment on Stewarts charactor which you have clearly attacked. He may have made some very poor decisions, but that is to be expected from someone umpiring their third game of senior football, with no formal training at all. Stewart has absolutly no reason to be bias against Moulamien whatso ever, to the contrary, Nullawill and Ultima have been the fiercest of rivels over many years, espesially throughout his tenure as President of the Ultima football Club. It is my suggestion that the umpiring wasnt up to standard because of lack of experience and definately not because of a personal dislike of the Moulamien Football Club.

On The Track, I also find it very unfair that you have choosen this forum to name an umpire that you have issues with instead of using the proper channels provided by the league. I am sure that at each senior game yesterday people had problems with some decisions, yet you are the only person who chose to air these problems here. Unless you want to put your name up here and tell us who you are, and what official title you hold at the Moulamien Football Club, dont smear anyone elses character.

that is quite possibly the worst post ever written on big footy... you are a joke. i have been umpired by stewart before and although he wasnt the best umpire ive ever had, he was in no way is bias toward anyone. in the game he umpired us, we were playing against ultima and if anything, he looked after us more than them. maybe you should sign up and be an umpire and see how you go, i dont think you'd last a whole game. it shows the sort of person you are to come on here and say stuff like this you oxygen theif

Facts Rite. You played the Moula boys yesterday. What happend to ya?? Are they just that cut above everyone else?? Or did you boys just played a shocker of a game???

Lets see if you feel I'm an oxygen thief when a player is seriously injured perhaps permanently through late hits and no penalty applied so the players feel they can continue to do it all game. It's about safety and we all enjoy the contact but in the correct way do you agree or do we stay back in the seventies style and snipe behind play, hit late etc it's about being accountable for your action as player and ump he was in good position to apply penalty most of game and did not when players were hit very late etc but I guess thats ok it's only Moulamein it must be killin you lot that we are lookin good.

I think On the Track is a bit harsh as well. I thought the ump in question did a good job of keeping nulli within 100 points of moula:D
can play u obviously saw the game care to explain how the game went and was I justified in my concern in player safety. Gentlemen the standard of our league we are proud of needs to go up this is the truth yes or no ????? IT DID NOT ON THE WEEKEND and yes I have been umpired by him before myself and sorry as much as it upsets you . SAME OPION

Just 1 thing track, i have to agree with the others, as much as we know who the umps are, u shouldnt of mention the poor buggers name... The umpiers wernt the best against the Macorna vs Murrabit game, they cost some goals in the game, but there only human the all make mistakes. Just lets hope they dont make big mistakes in the finals.:thumbsu:

I'll put it this way. There was a fair difference in standard between the two men in orange. I thought the other guy (not sure of his name) did an excellent job.

I have no problem with the umpires, however they like the players have area's to improve, and protecting the ball player may be one. I reckon they could also avoid a lot of ball ups if they let the play go for a little longer. To often the whistle is blown when there is a real chance for the ball to be cleared. This would provide a more open game and a better specticle.

On track, this would have to be the worst post I have read on this forum to personaly attack the credentials of one umpire and naming him is to the detriment of our league that you are Quote "trying to improve" as Vice President of the Ultima Football Club, I think Moula's form is great for the league. Stewart King would be the last person that would have any reason to be bias against your club. Have a think about what you post next time and don't let your emotions cloud your common sence.

I actually thought there were a lot of downfields paid (to the point where they were possibly a bit too hot on it, but no complaints). And it's the same old story: we don't mind an umpire's interpretation of a rule, so long as he is consistent in its application, and I thought there wasn't a great deal to whinge about in that regard. Did anyone else on the ground (or at the game for that matter) think either ump was obviously biased?

The umpiring was not biased in any way, it was consistent! The umpires consistantly made the decisions, whether rite or wrong is going to differ on how everyone seen the game. The umpires decision is final, whether u like it or not, all we can ask for is consistency! There was some frustration shown by young Howdo when Kingy wasnt quite getting into the rite positions, but he's learning the ropes and having a crack. To the bloke who got on here and canned him, if ya can do better yourself pull on an orange shirt and get out there rather than sittin behind a screen name and knocking a bloke who's got the balls to become an umpire!
