Golf Australia Magazine ratings coming out soon with some clubs already releasing their positions.

Notable movements that I've heard so far are National Gunnamatta moving up to 8, Yarra Yarra re entering at 17, Lonsdale Links at 20 and Woodlands slipping from 19 to 25.

Kingston Heath also reclaims it's position over PK North sorry Peter North!

Played 21 of the top 25 just missing the 2 at King Island, Lake Karrinyup and Royal Queensland.

List is pretty close to where I'd have it although would put Metro behind Yarra Yarra and PK South. Not sure how National Moonah is above St Andrews Beach either.

only 16/25 here bro. 23/50

lucky to played 3 on tuesday.

I still remember the days when Royal Sydney was in the top 10-15 in these rankings.

The Australian at #36 is guaranteed to cause some heartburn!

Going to check out the new Yarra Yarra Wednesday. Seems unbelievable that the Renaissance work would have made that much of a difference but I look forward to seeing it.

Classic. Not sure the designers considered baggage allowance on the flight and the ability to pack 5 doz balls for your 3 rounds

It is just a dumb golf course. I remember stepping up to one of the 6 or 7 blind tee shots (seriously wtf), thought I'd take a 3 iron to be safe, flushed it, walked over the hill and realised I will never see that ball again. Then you drop another ball and have to hit your approach into some tiny target nestled amongst tropical jungle. It is the tropics FFS - if it is not blowing 30 knots planet earth has been knocked off its axis.

I am on holidays, I am hung over, and I really don't have time to figure this golf course out. I am playing once and once only.

Having said that it is maybe the best golf course site in the world - an entire island to itself. I have no idea how they screwed that up!

The Kapalua Plantation course just showcased in the latest tournament looked like everything Hamilton Island should be. Good vistas, interesting holes, plenty of width for the average golfer to get around and still have fun.

Seemed like a perfect resort course that could still host the pros just by adding length.

Exactly. And who cares if the pros shoot 30 under. It is resort golf and resort golf is what it is. And if it blows 30 knots the pros are screwed as well.
