Golf multi's

Hey guys, I know there's a few of you who are interested in your golf but and thoughtI'd get a thread started up on golf multi's. This includes USPGA EPGA LPGA etc... I'd be interested if anyone has had any luck in betting on golf. I find it to be a very sporadic market where bookies tend to react heavily to form surges and the big name syndrome which sometimes leaves the door open for value picks if you can time your bets right. I also think prior form at a tournament is massive. e.g. schwartzel recently at the masters has had a great record in the past and he was excellent value for the south african group (I got him at $7)

Anyway, to get things rolling, this week I've had a small wager on:

$2.30 Poulter top 10 ballantines championship
$ 4.25 Jeff Overton top 10 zurich classic

$9.77-1

Also replaced overton with Watney and multi'd the former with WCE under 39.5 against Melbourne

An erratic pastime but one of my favourites is golf betting. You must be prepared to take some losses because the wins can be few and far between but are generally quite large if and when they arrive.

Agree that the bookies always have the big names unders. Have had some success in doing head-to-head multis and group multis in Majors, usually boxed up.

I think it's wise to look at the player's record at the course and while not a definitive factor, can give you some assistance. Perhaps this is why the pair of you are keen on Overton this week.

But, remember, if betting on outright, only ever do it on Betfair. The bookies' prices are a joke. And, on Betfair, I always advise selling some if your player/s are close to the lead after round 2.

Took a break last week, this week I'm onto Tim Clark for top 10 @ the players and will multi that with Peter Hanson (top 10) EPGA tour. I've also had a nibble on Clark (top 10) into Watson (BL) into Pies (to make GF) at great odds... Anyone else onto anything in particular?
