The media have made it sound like Curnow and Buckets-lite are playing in the forward half all by themselves today and have consequently added a few layers of pressure to them both and Carltank.

JZ to play the game of his life and will fill the hole like Laidley and Archer in the 96 GF..

North by 17.. lets go..

Roos and Blues are relatively even in terms of average age today but North have a clear edge in average games played.

Interesting looking at the changes from last year when we played them (we also didn't have our first choice key defenders McKay and Corr in that game!):
  • Out Walker In Corr
  • Out Perez In Tucker
  • Out JHF In Powell
  • Out Greenwood In Cunnington
  • Out Thomas in Sheezel
  • Out CCJ in Comben
  • Out Mahoney in Phillips
Pretty happy with all those as upgrades to be honest

For the first time in a very long time I’ll be going to the Good Friday clash with a sense of optimism. Not necessarily that we can win but with the knowledge that the team will be up for it win lose or draw. I remember previous years that I’ve attended with a sick feeling in my stomach hoping and praying we can keep it under a 10 goal loss. The games a sell out . It should always have been north vs blues. I feel that this is the fixture they will keep and allow tradition to build. So huge that we now have clarko on board . He’s one of the big names in the game and this alone brings some added excitement to the game. Can’t wait to see the boys crack in and show the rest of the afl that the shinboners are building

If we win by literally any margin, I'll be ecstatic.

If we lose but are competitive, I'll be pragmatic.

If we get boat-raced, I'll be irrational and salty.
I doubt we'll get flogged. Just got to trust the guys down back to go hard.
