SM please explain to me what sidebottom did was any different to Goodes.
Humour me.
BS. Viney was a joke and should never have been reported. Goodes however was a cheap shot for which players should be rubbed out for cheap shots.10 pages for that incidental contact? No wonder all the greats of the game are up in arms about the state of this part of the game, I hear everyone else complaining about it too but all I hear on bigfooty is whinge, whinge, whinge because its Goodes. Any thread title with Goodes in it goes crazy. A lot of hypocritical idiots on bigfooty.
This would have made a good discussion if Goodes had been cited.
The MRP didn't decide that what he had done wasn't wrong, however, they decided that what he did wrong wasn't to the level required for a reportable offence. Given Selwood was clearly dazed, and considering previous instances of suspension for lesser impacts, any reasonable person would question that decision.
I would love to see the outcome had it been Mitch Robinson or Stevie J that made the contact in the exact same circumstances instead of Goodes in any given game.
2-3 weeks at least.
AFL are a joke.
Where you been Charlie?

Should he get off? Maybe not
But 3 weeks? For real?
LOL you cant be serious?BS. Viney was a joke and should never have been reported. Goodes however was a cheap shot for which players should be rubbed out for cheap shots.
Forget who it was, in general do you truly believe any player should have been reported for that?
I said 2-3 ( Not just 3 ) and i have no doubt if Mitch did the exact same hit that Goodes did that is what he would get.
The ride the Swans get from the AFL in so many different ways is nothing short of blatant cheating. The only people who cannot see it though are Swans supporters which is no surprise.
Dictionary definition of "Corrupt" - "made inferior by errors". That sums up my view of the MRP. Yours too?Proof?
Dont you get it AFL. People are sick of it, sick of the inconsistency of the MRP. Sick of some players getting favourable treatment. Sick of the AFL giving handouts and allowing clubs to exploit those handouts. Sick of match day pricing of entry tickets and food. If 17000 at a Hawks home game and what 14,000? at a Bulldogs game doesnt ring alarm bells for someone at AFL house to wake up and smell the roses then people will continue to stay away and watch rugby and soccer.
Yeah where can i swap teams you are right its just the final straw
By the letter of the rules and the way they are currently written it is a resounding YES and you would have to have your head in the sand to think otherwise.
Well what was Viney, was that a cheap shot? No it was a contest. Goodes was a cheap shot, got him when he wasnt looking. Go watch some ice hockey bud you'll know what I mean by a cheap shot!! why am I even discussing this with a franchise supporter, all looking rosy for your mob eh! Cant wait though to see how youre going when all the other players realise there is no money to ask for a payrise in their contract.LOL you cant be serious?
That's not what I asked and you know it.By the letter of the rules and the way they are currently written it is a resounding YES and you would have to have your head in the sand to think otherwise.
Typical reply and what i expect.
Carry on i suppose.
I think the point he was making is Stevie J or Mitch would have copped 3 weeks.Should he get off? Maybe not
But 3 weeks? For real?
Of course yes, because the AFL has declared the head sacrosanct, and it also declared last year that if a bump is inflicted by a player with both feet off the grounds it is viewed differently. Now if a player or team don't like the MRP findings you can take it to the tribunalForget who it was, in general do you truly believe any player should have been reported for that?
