Quick on the uptake aren't ya MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH

Well if you could read you would have noticed that there was an article in the shepp news saying he was in talks with Burnie but he refuted that by saying he would definitely be at the swans...............FLASH!

Down to 2 after 1 pulled out. Last years 3rds coach and a playing coach from Wangartta? are the only 2 left.

Word is that some of the better juniors are leaving and some dark days ahead as very limited dollars to recruit with.
Looking dire if they cant get a few on board early as dont have the cattle.

Euroa should try and lure Andrew Mills back home from over in the west. Unsure if they have spoken to him, but he would bring players with him and keep the younger players and Euroa could be in the mix to play finals again.
Unsure of what $ they have, surely they have not been spending much lately and should have some saved up.

Well he actually said that he was interested in coaching but not as a playing coach. If he plays next year he will play for the Swans but if he finds a suitable coaching job he will consider it. So I would suggest that he won't 100% be at the Swans if what was said in the article is correct.

Connors are you trying to connect with me? I'm still waiting for some info from you:confused: As for Echucaboy, obviously your are a journalist of the highest quality? Do you only read "The Age'?? Perhaps get someone else to type what you are trying to say as most of your posts are immature dribble that attempt to Brown people off:eek:

Perry Meka has just resigned as Swans coach.

Maybe Robbo can be captain coach :D

Lots going on with "grapevine" news about comings and goings. In regards to the Swans I feel it will be good for the club to move on from Perry. Their brand name within the league and the image of the club wasn't enhanced with him at the helm. I applaud any club who goes out and brings good players into the league like the Swans did, however the culture of the club has to be questioned. Where the club is at, financially, is interesting. Word is they still owe the league club affiliation fees for 2010 and already players are leaving. Whoever takes over will have to work hard in improving the club both on and off the field in terms of their standing within the comp.

Its great to read a quality article :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Why is there so much talk at the moment about players or supporters not happy with coaches being re appointed, Williams, Henderson, Symes, some one mentioned with the list Henderson had he should of done better, well does that also include Brad Campball ??. Dave Williams with Steve Daniel are the two best coaches in the GV, and how can you argue the fact, Dave has two GV premierships, and 10 Grand final apperances, coached the GV Rep side, Daniel has two GV premierships, coaches Queensland state, has coached at AFL and VFL level. Then you have Mark Quarell, Ned Kelly, and Bernie Haberman all who have been successful at GV level and coached a flag.
Then you have the rest that have done great jobs for there clubs, Henderson, Mc Carthy, Symes,Campball, and have had the support of the commitees hence why they have been reappointed :thumbsu::thumbsu:
Perry Meka I do not rate even with the above group.....

Well you were on to it Duff..............................

Can anyone give me info on Brian Durbridge? Can play obviously with league medals in the GVFL and Western Border League but good bloke, coaching ability? cheers.

Coached us at school for a couple of years. Is he coaching you guys?

Off the field normal pleasant and intelligent bloke.......but has been turning into Dr 'Jekyll' of late once he gets on the field, which is a shame as he is a good footballer and it has effected his game.

I see in the ky free press today it has Kayne Pettifer looking @ playing in Western Australia next season. Beatie off to Echuca United, Lovison off to Tongala.

Shepp News Today - Euroa have named there coach Lee Rowe from the Eastern Football League for 2011, Unsure if he will be a playing coahc or not as he is 37. Shepp Bears have names a host of players joining or returning to the club. Chris Cullinan, Drew Shadbolt, Andrew Taylor, Chris Bell are returning. Then there are a few of byers old team mates from barooga that have slip my minds plus eamon reeves and shannon emmet from congupna.

And the Swans favourite son Brett Warburton taking the reins at Princess Park.

Is that all coaching jobs now filled??

seems like the eagle has found a new nest....

good work can shop, also 2 add a few 2 ur list brad vick 2 tonny along with matt deledio & tyse dipetta from tatura & possibly a certian mooroopna midfielder!! Also from tat brendan keast 2 mooroopna!

Any clues to what sort of $$$$$$$ he could expect to get by playing over there. He was on about $20000 with Ky.

Nearly double as the state comp still attracts good crowds as played on a saturday and usually only 1 game available to attend live for the AFL. Average crowds this year 5-8000 so still popular. Bigger derby games tend to attract larger crowds.
Word was Andrew Lovett was getting about $50K to play this year.
