This is quality you think I'm him , love it.. Go write a book Ringo, how to botch a flag with the best side on the comp... And for the record when I look up premiers 2011 , united comes up
You have got to be kidding GSE, so you advocate for players who have been reported not to turn up to tribunal hearings and that makes them a bigger man? I don't think you will get much support from other United supporters with that attitude. Does that mean in future United players will stop fronting the tribunal just to show they are bigger men? I think you will find they will be receiving lengthy sentences using that tactic.Real tuff bagging him behind your keyboard pal, tell him in person next time you see him. Last time he went to the tribunal the alleged player he hit told the tribunal he didn't do anything to him and still got a guilty verdict, he is the bigger man by standing up for what he believes in and not showing up for that kangaroo court ...
For other players I do not advocate it in no way, Joey is a different story. I know how he feels about the tribunal and he has no faith in them, after the rochy incident I heard that he said he would never front a gv tribunal again and I don't blame him. He will never get a fair go their. A lot of this is due to his previous actions which he has created himself but it has got to a stage now where he cannot get a fair go. Have a look at the gf, after his late hit which ok a yellow card at worse, punches were being thrown from both sides yet he was the only one to get reported, I've heard they even reported him for striking s sheldon, from what I saw from the fence they were no where near each other ...
So him not showing up I believe shows that he sticks with his beliefs and I respect that
Nick Knight won Rochester's best and fairest from Brady Green.
Most Improved - Nick OConnor
Goals - Weeks
Coaches award - Nath Marrone
B&F 2nds - Sam Frawley
B& F Thirds - Elliot Taylor
Wasnt going to comment on this whole thread but couldnt help myself reading absolute rubbish posts.
Lets just take a step back here champ. The Rochy incident you refer to was when Dean Moon took a mark on the wing and Perkovic took 2 steps over the mark to try and round house Moon from behind. Wasnt all that keen as soon as Moony got up and chased him to even up. Erupted an all in brawl but seriously lucky he didnt get more for that incident. And you say he doesnt trust the tribunal after that incident, why because he got his right whack? Or he was just happy with his game of pinching Watson every chance he had? He gave away 6 frees in that game around the ball so highly disciplined in that game.
The trouble Perkovic has had for 2 years is he was trying to live up to something he wasnt as he sees himself as hard but couldnt be further from the truth. Dont think anyone will miss him not being able to play, maybe the 7 United supporters but thats about it.
With all due respect mate, you could not be more wrong.. That was Trent freer who you are referring to, Joey was on the other side of the ground when this happened, how in gods name could you say it was Joey.. This post has blown me away the most,Thank god the knob head is going to Croatia to live!!!!

Any coaching announcements yet..? Is it true about Looby coaching United & is Dirty going around again..?
Cheers mate. Any talk of recruits? Is everyone staying?
Only heard that Gestier was talking and thats all it is at present about working in the mines and a few might go out to Colbo but potentially only 1 senior player in that lot.

Was talk a few players coming back to Rochy next year in Perry Oliver with his knees right and ready to go and Scooter Hann back from WA? Have also been chasing a ruckman as dont think Sam Brennan will be back ( but unsure at this stage - was really good for 8 games this year) and Dan McLinden, Ryan Smith wont be back unless something changes.
Just need a couple of the younger blokes to step up and take the on ball roles ( and be allowed to play these positions for a few weeks) Nic OConnor, Nath Marrone and McCarty's should be doing a preseason to play these positions and given some time to develop into roles. They all have wheels and need to establish themselves 2014. Having Anderson back for a full year will also no doubt help and if Scooter was to come back is a very good onballer/small forward.
