Yarrawonga won by 6 goals.
Yes Yarra by 6 goals. Albury Tigers in front by 7 points at both first and second quarter intervals, but Yarra took over in the second half. Fevola kicked 4, bog was Drew Barnes ( yarra) and a crowd of 11000.
Talk about Drew Barnes, he has now played in 10 grand finals, resulting in a 5 wins, 5 losses ratio.played in a few for Nathalia I believe before joining Yarra. Now that's a great personnel record.
See United move into the Grand Final next week with Eagle bagging 6 for a seasons tally of 111. Are they any chance of beating Kyabram ???

Can anyone give any further insight as to what the investigation into Joe Perkovic is about against Ky in the 2nd semi?
Marc Quarrel suggesting he has been "hung out to dry" but lets face it his history isnt great in regards to his actions on the ground and suspensions. If cited and booked after the GF would think he would get enough weeks to tip him over the 16 threshold.

He said some of the most disgusting things I have heard about one of Ky's players family and on top of that he grabbed 3 seperate ky players on the nuts. This has to be one of the lowest dog acts you can do on a footy field. Quarrell is kidding himself in the paper by defending him, I know he is playing mind games for this week but it's a terrible look for united if their coach is defending these actions. I know it has only provided ky with more motivation this week.
He'll be fine providing he asked them to cough, all he has to say he was looking out for their health...
Quarrell statement of not wanting him to be a victim is pretty ironic I think. Why would 'Pervondick' contact a Ky player and apologise for something that he didn't do? The reeks of the Shepp Bears incident with McIntyre - he clearly has a problem.......
He has to be deregistered. Continually in the papers for the wrong reasons, has one week to go before he is deregistered and STILL does this sort of stuff. Obviously just a very ordinary human being.

all he's doing is giving himself and his club a bad name he will eventually be deregistered even if he gets off he's last incident.. would hate to have a reputation as a footballer like he has. I think the sportsmanship in GVFL is great but he just doesn't have the a clue!!

so league takes easy way out, lets it drag on and doesn't do anything until after the grand final, lets perkovic play and doesn't matter after that, he has nothing to lose in grand final
Perkovic is a slight upon the GV and some of the things he has said and done are a poor reflection upon him, club and league. The league must ensure a decision is made before Sunday otherwise...it could ruin the day for all GV followers in some way!

What does Percovic have to do before his club show some balls and sack the weak prick All this wouldn't have happened if he had been given the right penalty by the murray fl tribunal a while back the 5 weeks he got was a joke. He was booked for threatning to slit a tribunal members throat that is worth 10 plus every day of the week, theywill I hope get it right this time

yep spot on swoopin pie its about time the united committee i.e president stood over quarerel instead of turning a blind eye to this and sacked him before the tribunal do eventually.... common denominator united have a look at yourself and ask yourself is he bigger than the club because right now it seems like he is!!! shameful hope they get smashed sunday
The Perkovic incident reflects badly on United as a club and the coach. What Perkovic did and said out on the field against Ky was appalling. The players appealed to the umpires during the game but they were powerless to act. If United had any integrity as a club they would have moved on him long ago. Let face it, there wouldn't be one club in the GV, or country footy for that matter who would want a person of Perkovic's character in their club. Says alot for United. For Quarrel to claim that Perkovic is the victim in this is insulting to the footy public involved in GV footy.
