Rochy played Strathfieldsaye at Rochy yesterday with Strath coming away the win by about 5 goals. Strathfieldsaye had some good setups especially around the centre breaks / ball ups and they won most of the centre breaks throughout the day. Rochy's skills were very ordinary at times throughout the day and they gifted Strath at least 3 goals in the first half. Both teams still had players out, so everyone would have been better for the run.

Even the vfl don't charge entry to practice matches..

Seriously hope that the gate money did not go to the club and was donated to a charity. On Twitter Rushworth advised that they were giving 50 cents from every drink sold to aid Vanuatu in their game against Point Cook and I wouldn't imagine that a gate was ever thought about. Huge contrast given the struggles they are having at the moment.

McLean, Blake and Johns didn't play. Reimers, toy, Blackwell did. I'm Sure I've missed other ex-afl boys, too many to count. Was a good contest and Sherman played pretty much a full game. Moved well, and as the cliche goes, "there were plenty of positives to take out of the game".

Not trying to deny people's intrest, just pointing out that a Twitter profile doesn't really count for much, I'm thinking woody was just trying to stir the pot. I'm hoping for Sherman's sake his last fb status was about the ky footy club otherwise people will be calling for his head. Looking forward to the 4.55am SBS time slot.

The Bears seem to be quietly confident of winning a few more games this year. It might be the season that they sneak back into the finals.

I have to agree with you Woody. They implemented some good structures last year and definitely improved as the season went on. They will be better this year and will surprise a lot of teams. Finals will be their goal, but I don't think they will quite get there yet.
