Still say you gotta tick it off yourself one day mate, but would also be good to see Benny back at the Den :thumbsu:

Was watching a mate at Keilor about a month ago and spotted some Seymour FC lads having a gander, I take it McGuane was too dear or perhaps it was a look for onfield talent

Yeah mate..great club! The Lions aren't that far off it and until injury crueller their finals campaign I genuinely felt that they could cause Ky some headaches.

Cheers for that, yeh caught a few updates along the game, what was the crowd like? Either was a bit quiet or the accoustics in the boxes have got better

Ky
How was Kyle Mueller injured at the start of the game? Big loss considering his Qualifying Final performance against Shepp.
Ky won easily
Wong again no factor
Shepp not bridging the gap
Maybe Echuca can next year
Reserves game was a belter
No 9 for euros kys best

Remember Foxtrot Shepparton were a basket case 5 years ago so it does take a while to rebuild. Their first grand final appearance in 17 years and last year was their first finals for years.
They will be good again next year.
Ky were in a similar position 10 years ago. They now have established an era that will be remembered well after we have left this earth.
Be good if Echuca is up and about next year.

Maybe I just wanted to see a better and closer game

Im not sure Echuca will jump into the top 2 next year just off getting Walker. At a guess they would have spent the Cap or close too it this year so to fit another 4 or so quality types in would hardly be possible plus the points create a possible barrier as well.

There's ways around the so called salary cap doc !!! But there is no way around the points system

Spot on Doc. Many people were quick to jump on board the Echuca bandwagon before the start of this season and my prediction of a low finish on the ladder was questioned. I will again wait to see how my mates at the coal face rate them before deciding how they will go.

Yes Swoooin, the point system is sorting those rorts out. Even though some people hate it, it will be the equaliser as it starts to bite.
Ky are benefiting because of it; even though Shepp pushed the limits with it this season, will find it easier next year, and United should reap its rewards in a few years.

hoa are clubs going to get around the salary cap?
