More so Merrigum I think rather than Lancaster. Threw the kitchen sink at him apparently but with Macarthy and Watt going to Tonny he probably felt he could get better delivery there.
Imagine if Tongala was still in the GVFL. Fun times over there with that nasty wind that would blow up. Geez they were a mighty team in the early/mid 80's with Tony and John Jones, John Cortese, Harrison et al. (And the sensational Mick Souter). Thankfully no silly points system in those days or we would never have seen those sides.

They were one of the great GV teams in terms of personal and characters Silver. Caught up with Jonesy at Flemington this time last year and had a good reminiscence about those days.

You got some goss Johnno? Who coming from the Tiger to join the Doggies then? :p LOL

I hear you’re the man pulling all the recruits in oz. You tell us the goss? Taking out Ky I Think Tat are probably abit further off the tops teams then they think, probably need another 5-6 genuine good players and a good run with injuries to be a chance.

Personally can't see much changing next year! Maybe Mansfield might get themselves into the mix

Ky to come back to the pack a bit. Losing some young depth players and their veterans are another year older. Will still be top 2-3 but will probably lose 3-4 games next year.

I don't dis agree that they will come back a bit as they have lost a heap of depth but it won't be there age. Only pettifer is over 30 unless Vick comes back which is on the cards.
Have heard reeves a big chance to be back and a couple of quality recruits.

If co-coach Sam Sheldon hasn’t got his finger on the pulse with a couple of potential recruits through his contacts then I’ll go ‘he”.

What’s the info on him? How does he go mate?
I am hearing the ruckman Russell from NT Thunder/Heathcote has signed at Rochy. Isaiah Miller is back at Rochy but not sure about Bartels. Mitch Bright is returning from Colbo and bringing one of the Hill boys with him. No departures that I am aware of although some doubts on Rhys Free. Leigh Millard and Nick O'Connor will both return after missing the year through injury. Tigers still chasing a couple is my mail.

Edit: Dylan Cuttriss has retired after 200 games but I believe Ash Watson is going around for another year. Stroobants will probably play most games similar to this year despite the Nth Melbourne development coaching gig.

I’d say their wouldn’t be a hell of a lot of movement in the salary cap.. especially with the 3 or 4 leaving wouldn’t of been on much..
