Not GVL but thought it may be of interest , a player who was spectating at a reserves game locally , is alledged to have come onto the ground , belted someone , pushed an umpire and only received 5 weeks at tribunal last night .
Yet blokes are being rubbed out for saying f*** me under their breath in the middle of the ground ???

Apparently his accomplice, who wasn’t registered, got a 5 year ban of attending matches by the league .

Yes correct one registered player and spectator at the time copped 5 weeks for jumping the fence and joining in a mallee but the main culprit who also ran to the mallee copped a 5 year ban he was not registered and barred from all football games for that period.That was handed down by the league

Top 4 look good things to play finals hard to make a prediction on 5th and 6th without really studying the fixture ( Has that actually been settled yet?) but I'd lean towards Rochester filling one of those spots. Their forward line is one of the better ones in the Competition.
If he joined in the mallee he was not in the same area of the state, as I would guess this was North West Victoria. If he joined in a melee that would be a scuffle. If the culprit ran to the Mallee once again from Ardy, this is a great effort. Spelling Police Always on Patrol. Peace Out.

Two split rounds one being next week and the following and I see Kyabram and Shepp United play each other in both Rnd 13 and Rnd 14.
Why would clubs need to have bye 2 or 3 weeks after returning from 3 weeks off , which leaves no room for movement shall we get another forced break ?
I'd have thought it was logical to remove as many byes as possible .

More importantly Swoop that pivotal Rochy v Mooroopna game remains in 2 weeks with the new fixture. Big game mate. Will be making a road trip for that one.

I am obviously biased but agree with 'Fly as I suspect neither of those teams will finish 5th-6th. Will be interesting if United can get their full team back on deck and I rate Benalla higher than Mansfield. With the new fixture, if Rochester cannot finish 5th or 6th they don't deserve to be in finals. As distinct from playing the top 4 sides twice and not Benalla or Swans.

Was taking the piss Silver as someone who allegedly did push an umpire only got 5 weeks , it doesn’t seem to make slot of sense .
My understanding is he collected a bloke late who suffered some concussion .
