I think Rochy are in the mix to get a quality tall, Jansen and atley will be hard to replace and possibly stroobrants

Yes mate. The connection for the Harper brothers and Jansen was Stroobants.
When Flaherty quit as coach he suggested he might stay as a player. He didnt, as he was offered plenty by Bendigo Clubs and I might suggest Stroobants will be offered similarly.
Another tall would be handy!

Looks like they are going after the head of Echuca in Walker. Euroa playing ok, but they need to play faster, a couple of 50 metre penalties they jogged up to the mark and let Echuca set up.

Echuca Ressies set up behind the ball very good Hilly. Made to look real good when we just kicked the ball up high to them. Last time we chipped around them, or moved the ball that quickly we caught them over the top.
How many handball receives or play on quickly today?
Anyway they were there. I would have loved to play in a grand final. Still proud of their efforts.

Euroa tried to keep the ball moving the entire second half, just a couple of skill errors hurt them.

Well done to the Echuca Footy club, super successful day at headquarters. Brave effort by the lads from Memorial Oval, right up against the team deemed the standout all year and gave them one hell of a scare. 20-7 marks inside fwd50 was the difference imo.

Well done Simon Maddox and Andrew Walker ! To finally break an almost 20 year Premiership drought is a great achievement. Ash Byrne has brought the club together and is in a strong position to aim for another flag in 2023. The Euroa boys were gallant and did everything to they could to overcome Echuca.
