If it’s good enough for mooroopna to have the interleague game it’s good enough to have the grand final, Deakin is so outdated, both rooms are old and run down, there’s no parking and the scoreboard is always on the fritz!

Yep totally agree.... Mooroopna is central to the league which is great. Let's take Kings Parks oval to Mooroopna's facility with Deakins goal posts & Euroa's Hotdogs / Rochy chicken steaks?! That might keep us fellas happy.

If kings park had an extra stand on the town side it would be a perfect venue for it. Change rooms in desperate need of an upgrade though as well.

Agree with you Ultra. Change rooms last time I went in weren't that great for the visitors..... Great large area though for parking and for kids to run around thats for sure.

Where does that put Echuca in relation to Seymour and Euroa mate? The latter two are the obvious improvers based upon posts on here.
How disrespectful to the public is the fact that PlayHQ doesn't allow the public to see recruiting.
Disgraceful. It's part of the fabric of country footy. Thankfully we have this forum at the very least.

How does Benalla not have enough for 2 sides, it’s a massive town? Are they likely to get a side up?
I have them third at present.They are well coached, have plenty of talent and could win it but I have Seymour and Euroa ahead of them. Don't believe Paul Hunter will play for Euroa at all so that is a blow for the Magpies. As an aside I, believe Gus Byrne has been added to the Geelong VFL teams leadership group. He is a great young man.
What will Marty hore do if he misses out on the Roos last spot? Plays vfl, would Echuca or leitchy be his home club, when vfl byes permit?
Coming off a knee injury I would imagine he would take every opportunity to rest and not play when there are byes .

My understanding was if he didn’t get an AFL spot he wasn’t playing VFL.
That’s were it then gets interesting.
If he doesn’t get upon an AFL list and thinks his time for AFL has past , I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays in the BFL with his brother.

Marty has committed to Norths VFL program. He has signed there as a Marquee player. Every AFL/VFL aligned club has a player that can be paid outside the salary cap. He will not be playing local football.

Great news for Gus! Terrific young player thats for sure. If he was full time and fighting fit for Echuca they would look a different side.
Euroa, Echuca, Seymour my top three in that order at the minute. Just interesting to see how Seymour play with/without their stars.... where as Euroa & Echuca will be more consistent side week to week I believe.

Any recent updates on Benalla ?
I suppose the questions are; Do they have player numbers? If so do they have practice matches?
There is always a lot of commentary around clubs folding due to being financial broke . It would appear Benalla are facing difficulty despite been very successful financially in recent times
I notice Shepp Cricket has decided to not play the final round to give themselves a extra week to get finals completed . Predominately due to concerns of player unavailability due to covid .
