The Cats looked very good in their own right and a very big improver from the last few seasons thats for sure. Hard to get an exact gauge on them though as they have beaten the three Shepp based sides and a depleted Seymour.
15 out hurts the Lions as they only had 7 genuine senior players out on the park. I must say the boys who have come up from the reserves have cracked in and had a real go, so I think the Seymour coaches would be quite happy despite the three losses in a row.
Sounds like some of the preseason training at Seymour involved activities such as walking under ladders, walking past black cats, and smashing mirrors!
Trainers will be working over time!
