I still remember a 16 or 17 year old Paul McMahon getting bog for northern and echuca seniors interleague in 96, he put he's hand up to play during a pios bye. Not sure that'll happen today

Craig O’Meara played for and was best on for Mid Murray in am inter league game at 17….was going to be drafted off the back of his inter league performances at that age but did his knee later in the year and missed out.

God I loved inter league footy and what it meant back in those days

Craig O’Meara played for and was best on for Mid Murray in am inter league game at 17….was going to be drafted off the back of his inter league performances at that age but did his knee later in the year and missed out.

God I loved inter league footy and what it meant back in those days

Jack Yelland did similar for the picola league and from that got selected and played in the Vic Country u19 1/2 side .

Ash Watson came on at half time in his first senior game and had 20 possessions. Silky even back then. Ash may have only been 16 years old then as well.

Great player and for a long time with the tiges. Did quite well at North from what I remember back then.

He must have been 15 on debut for the tiges. Great last year in the tac cup, was he drafted before dal Santo? Probably didn't live up to the expectations at afl level
