Had a look at Echuca flexing their muscles against a disappointing swans outfit in the end just to much class with the likes of Morris / the 2 Reid’s /mchale / Evans ect ect just a terrific footy side .With Shepp demolishing Kyabram today and watching them last week just can’t see any other side standing in the way of a Echuca vs Shepp granny

Imho that becomes all too predictable and is too easy to shut down when playing a decent disciplined side.
Note today Echuca had 14 individual goal kickers ,that ,is not too predictable, and not easy to plan against.

Agree with you Marvin as Echuca are a level above the other teams, but the rest of us need to talk about something for the next few weeks! 😫

I'm going to put the heat on Tatura! Mooroopna rested 5-6 players today but the Lions took full advantage of that. The Lions are well-coached.

Echuca way too strong for the swannies today. Swannies were in front at quarter time and and only a couple kicks down at half time. Swans pressure early had Echuca making uncharacteristic decisions and mistakes. Cream certainly rose to the top in the end though.

Exactly. There would want to be some progress next year, so the heat is on them.
Agree completely. Isn't that part of preseason training? Surely the injuries aren't all contact injuries.

With the recruiting, they would have been aiming for finals. They don't seem to get that they need to build from the ground up, is chalky still going there to coach or is he just recruiting?

I’m sure Barnard wouldn’t be on minimum wage , a one win season including some of the beltings they’ve copped simply isn’t good enough in GV injuries or not.
Mail out of Tat is that they are extremely happy with barnard and he is more than exceeding expectations which no doubt considers payment v output .
IMO What is being seen with Tat is representative of what is going to occur in the future . Much the same as it has occurred in the Bendigo league and should have been foreseen when the points system came in . .
The system strongly supports clubs who have huge drawing power of juniors and limits the ability of those without that drawing power .

Exactly why the current rules and regs don't work for all and disadvantage clubs like Tatura.

Maybe clubs need to invest more into their juniors and make it a destination club for juniors to come rather than a one season big spend up

I’m hearing there are up to 5 locals that will be out the door next year due to his re appointment.
Also heard freer and Osbourne are going to be co coaches at United next year

Looks like United are panic mode now the 3 Neagle boys have changed their mind,
As one was going to coach
recycling ex players as coach hasnt worked real good for them lately

There’s no secret that the league hate ky
Every year that I can remember 4th V 5th is on a Sunday, why change this year
If kyabram are pissed you can see why
