Kade Chalcraft is back at United. A very good pickup.

Add Tim O'Brien (Hawks/Bulldogs) to that listHe’s signed with Donny East in efnl premier. They throw cash like confetti there. Already have Simon white ex Carlton Taylon Duman ex freo Chris deluca ex Carlton/freo and Tommy bell ex Carlton and Brisbane. Perhaps bell and schache were mates up north?

LOL ... and all that confetti got them five wins and eighth place on the EFNL premier ladder.
Meanwhile their fringe players have left in droves to get a senior opportunity elsewhere because the club goes for annual spending sprees instead of backing their own talent.
Let's wait and see how it all pans out. Empires fall ... so do footy Clubs.Understand Echuca have re signed 90% of there current list. Reid’s re signed and Willoughby taking time to decide if he moves interstate. Also understand that they have an absolute A grader straight out of the AFL ready to commit if the job offer he has been presented with in Melbourne works out. If the comp thinks they are going to be “weaker” then they are very wrong. What a well run club they are.
Hore I assume, will he drop points as he played for them 2 years ago?Understand Echuca have re signed 90% of there current list. Nothing like a bit of gloating after a Premiership.
Can play.Does rochy try get deola from their reserves, he's a ready made senior footballer
My understanding is the Betson’s both agreed to come back for a set period. I believe both work and live in the Geelong area. Kee Betson actually stayed a year longer than he’d agreed to initially.
My understanding was McCarthy would’ve headed to Ky last year but wanted to try his luck in the GV again at a different club. Was always going back there. They’d be disappointed to lose him after going to the trouble recruiting him.
Rutherford has returned to Melbourne for work and will resume with his former club. Was always a 2 year agreement.
The cats will need to recruit well to stay in the 6 next season as they’re probably 3 of their top 5 players.
He'll win the Morrison, in St marys top 5 players, the last few years.Kade Chalcraft is back at United. A very good pickup.
With you Trent. Absolute Gun. Would be great to see Shepp Utd back firing and giving Shepp a run for their moneyHe'll win the Morrison, in St marys top 5 players, the last few years.
Is it more the location? And if you look at any side in the league outside echuca, rochy and kyabram, the list turnover is big. I'd think that speaks more about people not wanting to move to the shepp area, instead they either live in Melbourne and travel which wears thin after 2 years or they move away from the areaHi Blokes,
First time long time. There's has been a lot of carry on from Mooroopna and Lamont over the past few years, but fact remains that players keep leaving and they have underachieved. In the last 2 years or so Jack Hunt, Trengrove, Nield, Betson x2, Basile x 2 went to Colbo, The Devines left the club, Kilpatrick future key fwd or back now McCarthy & Rutherford. Players going over to Europe for long periods during the year this year. Lots of injuries, terrible twos side, U18s just going.
I'm sure I'm missing a few. For someone who is constantly lauded as a supercoach he sure does find it hard to keep a competitive list and squad together.
You will find some of this stuff consistent with most players and clubs. OS trips in the season have become more common and almost accepted. Unfortunately, most players play at one club until a better offer comes along. IMO some district clubs are not following the Salary Cap placing more pressure on 'Major Leagues'. The Bendigo League IMO is being swallowed up by district clubs paying huge amounts to players. Personally, I think Lamont has done a great job getting these players through the door in the first place. Until there is a consistent Salary Cap structure players are going to club-hop for better offers. John is an excellent coach.Hi Blokes,

Wow, Big Larry making his way over to the GV site!GV slowly turning in to the Ovens and Murray’s broke long lost cousin, would love to see the Grand-finalist play off in an exhibition match before the league game. Unfamiliar with Echuca names, but from what I hear I think the Rovers would send them packing.
RusselThey could add hore, Byrne, toma and phillips
