There is an article in the Shepp News today about the new VCFL websites and whats happening with viewing on-line clearances. Is someone who has acess able to post it?

Any news on these other new Echuca recruits? some talk on here not long ago more signings to come???
B.Wilson still in the mix? Strong rumors he is def heading home and now Leitchy/Gunny on his tail???
What about a SANFL player also being touted to sign with Echuca?

I think Rochester have a game against Numurkah.

Rochy play Numurkah at Colbinabbin, Eaglehawk at Eaglehawk or Colbinabbin and Koondrook-Barham up there.

No chance of playing Strathfieldsaye. Whitsed approached Rochy's coach about it... Schmidt hesitantly declined. Not to sound arrogant, but would be quite an embarrassing way to start off his coaching career. Correct me if I am out of line.

Does anybody know how to operate this site? Where can the movements be viewed? Thanks

Gus Underwood sporting snapshots - Ky Free Press Feb 6th
"Could the Kyabram Bombers have a red-headed former GVL club skipper in its ranks this season.

I'm reliably informed the odds of this happening are shortening with every training run."

Anyone got a slant on this story, my guess is Jeremy Campbell, as some from Ky have been saying they have got him since the new year.
My mail is that he will line up much closer to his new home and job. (Not a GV club)

Referring to Jezza no doubt.

I can tell you he trained with Bears last night.

Would Stanhope be whom you are eluding to Hank?
My mail was Bears, but have heard different of late.

Cats replace stock they have lost

Mooroopna remains on the recruiting aggressive with Shepparton's Tobi Kennedy and Shepparton United's Chris Schirmer joining the Cats for the upcoming season.
Cats coach Brad Campbell said yesterday he had not given up on losing young prospect Ash Hockey yet, while Melbourne-based player Ryan Hocking will not be returning to Mooroopna this year.

The transfer of Kennedy and Schirmer between Goulburn Valley Football League rival clubs boosts the Cats' stocks after losing James Marks to Cobram and Sam LaPorta to Undera recently.

Kennedy had trained with Mooroopna in previous years and had his clearance to join Mooroopna outright rubber-stamped on Friday.

``From what I've seen he's got determination and a good attitude,'' Campbell said.

``Down back is somewhere we've got him earmarked.''

Schirmer, 27, made a confident return from injury last season with good performances on the United half-back line and the occasional positional change which Mooroopna witnessed first-hand.

``We know he can play (down back) and he's shown his versatility up forward,'' Campbell said.

Hocking played with the Northern Bullants with occasional appearances for Mooroopna last season, he will continue his football at home club Eltham in the Northern Football League.

``We're disappointed with some of the players who have moved on recently,'' Campbell said.

``But we've picked up pretty good quality.''

Hockey committed to QAFL club Broadbeach last November, but Campbell wasn't giving up on keeping his young charge yet.

``He's been back in town regularly, we still think we might hold on to Ash,'' he said.

Tobi Kennedy is not the recruit that they have talked him up to be, not a bad player, but definetly not a gun senior player, probably just another number.. i wouldnt of expected him to play seniors in a good side..

Thought I'd have a stab at a ladder as we get closer to the season and the recruiting window closes. I'm sure that this can be argued

Rochester
Mansfield
Mooroopna
Seymour
Shepp United
Kyabram

Tatura
Shepparton
Shepparton Swans
Euroa
Benalla
Echuca

I definitely wouldn't have Echuca on the bottom. Although they have lost a number of players, they have picked up a few quality recruits and certainly won't be cellar dwellers this season.
