Secondary Goverment Grant

I was talking to a mate today and he was telling me that if you are a secondary school student you can claim up to $800 on most school supplies which include books and i.t equipment. I was wondering if anybody could confirm this and send us a link my way that would be apprecated.

Btw i am from Victorian so i dont know wheather goverment grants are in the federal or state goverments.

That is the section mate. Youth Allowance.

Im pretty sure if you are at school full time then you qualify for it. Just read up on how much you should get and then make a claim for it.
