You mean he'll look to fix Carlton's bulging salary cap by salary dumping Mckay for a second round pick and paying $300k of his contract for the next 5 years because they have too much salary tied up in KPFs. The pick 12 that they want to use in the draft this year will want to leave in 2 years time and he'll be let go for a second rounder. And there'll be a trade coup where he convinces McCreery to join Carlton before his UFA year to add speed around the stoppage and trade us a future 1st and second rounder.

A CEO generally comes with all sorts of specialist expertise......eg if he comes from a sales and marketing background......expect them to have a say on sales and marketing issues......because he can add value....same applies - asking Wright not to have a say on list mgt is a bit like saying don't provide us with your full suite of expertise / knowledge / contacts in order to improve us as a club.....that would be just silly!
