Well, we are approaching the last day in September, with our finalists being St. Kilda & Geelong.

What is the Freo' Board verdict??

Geelong too much experience for me...should win comfortably...i expect a similar start to the game against Western Bulldogs only this time they won't stop they'll continue.

Managed to see both prelim's. I must say the St Kilda V Footscray match was a modern day ripper. Riewoldt was the class that seperated those two sides, even with the Bulldogs winning the battle for the middle ground. Geelong are looking good, and they would be aware that there "window" cannot last forever...
I'm hoping for a thriller and not a 119 point Powa prison rape.
I think Riewoldt will bring the Saints marching home. St. Kilda by 6.

It would make me laugh to see Ablett miss the brownlow, lose the grandfinal and the norm smith and get 45 possessions on GF day.

That being said, I think the cats will win.. I will be barracking for the Saints though.

I would think Geelong would be in the box seat it that respect as well. Each player would have developed his own personal habits in dealing with Grand Final week. Preperation would be a huge part of this week

You can never say can ya. Essendon were totally dominant in 2000 then fell away quickly, as did the Eagles, Brisbane and Sydney. Who would have tipped the Hawks to miss the 8 this year?

Harley's probably finished, Ottens and Chapman are getting on and are inury prone. Corey, Mooney, Scarlett, Milburn and Ling must be close to 30. They could easily have a bad run with injuries next season and finish 5th-8th and miss the prelims then have some massive holes to fill in 2011.
