WAFC get paid dividends from a profitable Freo and Eagles.

So the AFL will short change two clubs to keep control? I dont think so mate.

WAFC funding is as far removed from AFL influence you can get. Much more independent than other leagues.

Last year, WAFC received more money directly from the AFL than it did in royalties from both clubs combined.

I think the SANFL might disagree - they dont even have funding from AFL licenses any more - and they get control/revenue of Adelaide Oval for half a year.

QLD is following NSW.
Today we had a good day, 12k tests for 1 case (the wife of yesterday’s case). And in total we have 5 people in this cluster (the 2 women who snuck in, their sister, and this couple who ate at the same restaurant).

If we get lucky over the next week, we’ll be able to stop this cluster in its tracks and go back to being Covid Free.

His constituents are more than happy to be living in a state with covid under control.

Id suggest most Victorians would happily swap premiers in the condition they are in right now.

Come finals WA may well be the only state we can have crowds. And if that happens the AFL should be thankful McGowan stuck to the hard line approach.

QLD is following NSW.

AFL currently has four states as options.

Queensland
Western Australia
South Australia
Tasmania

Then what should Mcgowan do? He has to maintain a covid free state and has offered to be host state with quarantine rules. What more should he do? Oh, and i support WC but do not live in WA.

McGowan should open Optus Stadium so it's allowed to host up to 60,000 crowds at capacity.

Tasmania just kicked the AFL out, that why games weremoved.
SA has to date said no to hubs.

That leaves QLD who is heading in the same direction as NSW. They have opened borders and people are lying about their movements.

A friend from work said they were eating out and overheard some Vic tourists joking about how they lied to the police at the NT border before being let through.

A returning NT man returning from Melbourne after caring for his partner who had to fly south for an operation tested positive mid flight. On landing he and surrounding pasengers were placed inquarantine.

Im more concerned the season will shut down and we wont see any finals.

Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Yep.

And that's why somewhere else should get finals.

Either Adelaide or Perth as the stadiums are state of the art and hold much bigger crowds.

It will be interesting what % of games in the home and away season will be played in QLD. 70%?
882 reporting yesterday AFL buying up accommodation in Bris in Sept/Oct.

GF in Queensland this year guys.

Damn Liberal state governments.

Thanks to Pauline Hanson.

Explains why the NT are suddenly getting new cases.

Lol at people thinking we're following New South Wales. We only have 8 active cases, and besides 2 days ago, we haven't had a community transmission in months

Our cases were literally, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3, 1, 1, 0

Get the **** out of here thinking we're going to be the next cluster
