I know there has been a few tips put in already in other thread but i thought i would start a dedicated thread for tips - both game and BOG.

Grand Final Winner - Brookers by 13 points
Medal - Craig Clarke

2nds - Warby 1 point (Medal #4)
3rds - Olinda 25 points (?)
 
My Grand Final Tips;

(a) Get there early for a decent vantage point
(b) Wear warm clothing and pack a brolly (long range forecast is 13 degrees and showers)

Moin's Tip:

  • Woori by 5 goals. BOG - Stolly
  • Magoos - Monbulk (finally) - BOG - Cagga or Bluey
  • Unders - OFCFC - BOG - Brin Owen - with a surname like that, he must have talent.
Netball - Mt Ev, Upwey and Wandin...

* Also - let's hope the canteen doesn't run out of hot dogs this week before half time in the 2's as did happen at Gembrook on Saturday.

And WTF is with the beer debacle? One bar, massive queues, flat keg beer in plastic cups, and a price increase for less beer. Good work guys, you've convinced me to bring my own this week!
 
U18s - our boys by 11 points (Callum Beattie BOG)

Reserves - Monbulk by less than a kick (Stevey Utts BOG - he reads this)

Seniors - Woori by 15 points (Rickey Clarke BOG)


Personally, i think they're all 50/50 games. I havent chosen anyone with any confidence.

I'm tipping Woori purely on home ground reasons. I've chosen R.Clarke to win the medal in a losing side. Having seen Warby 2s twice, I'm not sure why I tipped Monny, probably coz I know most of the boys. The 18s game will be a beauty, both sides are very even. It has the potential to be the most exciting GF day in YV footy for many years.

Gembrook by5 goals and i have to agree with you NS Graig Clarke has been the best ruckman i have seen in this comp.But i think Ricky Clarke will win the medal, the best onballer in the comp,how he didnt win the league B/F has got me stumped......

We find out for sure tomorrow night - but kind of have a hunch anyway. My first year here so I'm not sure of the protocol and whether going public is frowned upon or not.

Its ok mate as we saw last year the burgers were good and the beer was cold not in cups at Woori. The ladies in the canteen will greet you with a smile, and the ground is just starting to look as good as ever after the junior gfs being held there.

Hey Moin, Will you be there on Sunday? I will be there early to get a spot to watch the BIG game, might even go straight after the Doggies beat the Saints (gotta have belief and hope) and sleep the night in the car, just so I can get a good spot. All fired up to hopefully watch a good and close game.

Where is woori tiger? Would like to read how this game will pan out. He seems to be a very switched on individual. He predicted very early in year a woori V brooker grand final. Give us a run down tiger (match ups etc). :D
 
By the sounds of things Tiger has been busy the past few weeks creating space in the trophy cabinet???

Big congrats to Jordan Buckingham, Leigh Walters and Paul Shoebridge who might be otherwise occupied on Sunday! ;)
