Greater Fun Factor: Baseball or Cricket?

For those of you fortunate enough to have participated in both organized Baseball and Cricket, which sport is more "fun" to play?

Baseball easy. I used to love cricket as a kid, but I can't even watch the Ashes or OD series anymore, doesn't do anything for me

Cricket does tend to be a bit boring sometimes especially with ODI's in the middle of overs (no powerplays) after 20th overs-40th overs.


Baseball there usually is a lot more happening every ball, every strike , every out.

No greater feeling than going "yard"

On the flip side there is also nothing better than seeing a master pitcher "control" a game not with speed but with control and a nasty curve.

Yeah but watching the bottom of a batting line up at the plate can make the mind wonder aswell .

My midget plays both , school cricket and club baseball , and while he loves both he is more involved in baseball games so as a rule has more fun at baseball .

I keep recommending Baseball to my mates as the best summer sport for their kids but haven't had any takers yet . Some prejudices involved plus they do not want to admit that they don't know much about the rules of baseball me thinks.

I used to play school cricket and club baseball... I gave up on cricket.

Baseball to me is much more enjoyable to play, there is a lot less standing in one position for hours...
