Magnum said:Sounds a lot like the March gig. I've been to the Nimrod Tour, then the Warning tour and then the gig in March and the March one was by FAR the WORST gig I've seen them play. So much annoying cr*p with BJ winding up the crowd - "Ahhhh Uuuu, left side cheer, now right side, Aussie Aussie Aussie, get someone out of the crowd to play a cover song...etc etc etc.." Boring as hell. I started yelling "Just play you f*ckers".. Definately far more teeny bopper too.. Not only that they hardly played a song before American Idiot and NOTHING off kerplunk and 1039 (besides Knowledge which is BS).... They really needed to appease some of the long term fans with less crowd BS and more old songs, stuff like Christy Road, Going to Pasalaqua, 2000 Light years away, and more of the lesser known tracks like Pulling Teeth, Redundant, Armatage Shanks and Scattered. That would have made it a far better gig. The shows at Festival hall ruled the Idiot tour hard...
Love the latest albulm, but couldnt make the concert. Kind of thought this would be the case.
Bought the DVD/CD 'Bullet in a bible' and was so damn dissapointed. All you can hear is screaming girls, and the winding the crowd up just got annoying.
Festival Hall mid 90's>Telstra Dome.
