Not sure if its out yethow can i look at a 2013 fixture???
Very big call but don"nt forget it could be one of four teams this year, going too be one of the best years in a long time her goes Bombers hawks ultima tigersBen jones from balranald to wakool? Handy forward line with Kirkland/jones. On paper I'd call a wakool/ultima gf now

That four wouldn't be far lwrong come September either. Lot of quality headed to the golden rivers, hopefully it is a good even year for the league
Nully certainly wont have it easy this year. The quality and quantity of players other sides have picked up will make them earn a finals spot i reckonNully no good?? The league would been to improve a hell of a lot if the reigning premier doesnt make the finals. From what i understand they have retained most of the premiership side and recruited well.
Sounds like the league will improve a fair bit. How will this affect sides like Hay, Moula and Quamby ?? For years there has been a pretty big gap between the 2 or 3 better sides to the last couple of sides. With Ultima, wakool and co improving as much you say the gap seems to be even greater. Might be a long year for a few clubs..Nully certainly wont\ have it easy this year. The quality and quantity of players other sides have picked up will make them earn a finals spot i reckon
I haven't heard a lot about the other clubs. Hay had a couple coming out of Bendigo later last year which made them competitive, and moula had a bad run with injured blokes. Iv heard rumours of Marcus Nalder to moula or a number of clubs. Messer will be a handy coach for quamby, handy young blokes with a few senior games last year. A few recruits from mildura heading to the golden rivers as well by the sounds. Recruits seem to be coming from everywhere
Nully prefer being the underdogs anywayNully certainly wont have it easy this year. The quality and quantity of players other sides have picked up will make them earn a finals spot i reckon
Didn't mean it like that if it came across that way. They do like being underdogs, not sure why they get that tag though, quality sideNully prefer being the underdogs anyway
I wouldn't have suggested they had it easy in 2012 either if that's what you're implying...

On paper ultima and wakool should have good sides. But then they could be like koondrook and have a team full of handy blokes and not capitalise on it. Either way your right, should make for a better standard of footy and be good for the leagueThat was my point. The likes of Ultima, wakool etc would have to improve a fair bit if they were to make finals ahead of Nully. I only watched one game last year so i cant comment to much, but from the results and talking to a few blokes that is the impression i get. Should be a good year for the GRFL.

Its the age old adage.. The leagues want to but the clubs dont. Theres not much point if you dont have a full strength rep side, but who will look after certain club if there cashed up recruit is injured during interleague? On another note. Is the GRFL ever going to be involved in interleague footy again. Its a great concept but do you think the clubs would support it ??
Whos gunna look after the club when their cashed up recruit trips over at the pub and breaks his leg?? Yer its a silly argument from the clubs. I was involved in the Picola League rep side last year (was the first time in 8 years they put one together) and it was fantastic. We were by no means at full strength. Probably had atleast 8-10 out of the best side but the blokes that played were 100 % committed and was very rewarding for all involved. End up beating the Ovens and King league. We are hoping that on the back of last years success we have more players support it this year. Its the age old adage.. The leagues want to but the clubs dont. A lot of clubs see inter league as voodoo, thinking there top players will get injured. Yes it's silly, but your right also, it's great to give other guys a crack who actually want to play it, highly paid or not. I can see both sides arguments, both have valid points.
