is used primarily for balance.

didnt think he had much time to get onto the right, go with what you know best, cant hang shit on him for what was a low percentage chance

Tossed, turned and woke bolt upright last night, did our 2012 campaign come down to griggs right foot or should i say lack of. I havent seen the replay but dont tell me from that deep pocket , punt rd end he elected to use the preferred left foot......

If we played him in the ruck like he was recruited then we wouldnt have this discussion.

Was running slightly towards goal, so had to use his left. It was actually a slight 'around the corner' style kick, rather than a' running straight at goal, use either foot' kick. If that makes sense.

Less up-and-under kicks that give defenders all the time to reach the player the ball is going to. But that goes for Tuck and Cotchin as well. Must have been a definitely strategy to address (thank god)

Yeah and he hasnt really turned it over either. Has also kicked more goals but not much recently

His delivery into our forward line is absolutely atrocious and he's so completely unaccountable in defence to the point that it's a liability as we're effectively a man short whenever the opposition has the ball. If he can sort out those two issues -which can both easily be sorted- he'll be a much better player- a very good one in fact- and we'll be a much better team.

How accountable is his opponent when he continually racks up mid 20s ea week, just askin

What's that got to do with my points? Does that somehow make his defensive non-efforts ok? Every player needs to be able to work both ways. It's a contact sport and I don't care what your "role" is, you're still going have to make a tackle, apply defensive pressure and go in hard to a contest at least every now & then during the course of a two hour match, no matter what position you play.

How about Cotchin and Jacksons right feet?

Grigg busts his arse every week to create the overlap or give us an exit from defence, that bullshit about accountability must come from a tv spectator who can't see the game in context.

Again, who's talking about his accountabilty in attack?

Lol you talk as if you're the guy running things down at punt road, your comments are akin to listening to an u12s coach go about his business.

"Running things"? No need to be glib smart alec, please explain which part of my comment isn't a basic fact of football, relevent in the AFL as it would be in "u12's"? Or are you still actually playing in the u12's?

I refer to Brandon Ellis and his interview he done today, I can't be bothered explaining the contents of the interview but it's fair to say that Ellis bases a lot of his game on Grigg.

Grigg must be doing something right. :)

I can't blame Grigg for that shot, was a little unlucky IMO, he's been one of the standouts of our year
Agreed. The pics above show that if he'd even contemplated to kick that goal on his right, he'd haven been de-listed yesterday.
Having said that, I reckon it was a pretty kickable goal considering he was on his correct foot. It just so happens that kicking is not his best attribute.
Conca would have kicked it in a heartbeat ;)
