Tell me what the key is like when you get it.

I was going to go for the key, but decided that I want to take my time with the game, so far at 57% and 41 hours I am getting as much out of this game as possible, I could choose to go through it as quickly as I want to get 100% for the key, but I feel I would be missing out on something.

Try jumping over one of the walls, if the cops don't see you run away you can get away pretty easily.

Yeah the Rockstar Social club. You get the 'Key to the city', overall i don't think it's anything too special, but i i'll enjoy the bragging rights over mates which comes with the key. :p

Searching out 200 pigeons was quite tedious and took about 12 hours all up.

Yeah i feel like i've missed out on a fair bit of the game actually. I wasn't really too fussed about the key to be honest until i found out they extended the deadline purely because they were having issues with the social club site. I still don't even know why i pushed really hard to get 100% and i'm talking about a 14 hour session last Saturday get most of the story line done. :(
 
Is it impossible to escape the 6 stars awarded when you breach the police barriers?

I got through the first barrier and drove off the side of the bridge to freedom, got out of range of the police....my 6 stars disappeared then came back 5 seconds later.

You probably crossed over an island to one you hadn't unlocked yet - which triggers ANOTHER 6 star wanted level in its own right.

If you're playing on 360, you can earn an achievement for surviving 6 stars for 5 minutes, and there's an easy way to do it. Drive right to the top of 'Bohan' - there should be some train tracks that go through a tunnel, run through them towards Algonquin, and eventually the 6 star wanted level kicks in (it will take a while).

Sit there for 5 minutes. Achievement complete. :)

or you can do what i did and fly a chopper around for 5 minutes.

how did you get 6 stars though Richo?

I tried going onto the net and used the www.littlelacysurprisepageant.com and that gives you 5 stars and went to the playboy mansion and tried shooting down choppers but no 6 stars. Now i have no money cause i used it all buying rocket launchers lol.

There's a rocket launcher on the rock island to the north of the middle island (forget the name for now, but it's the one where Playboy's missions are).

Easy way to get 6 is to go somewhere you're not meant to, like going to Alderney in a chopper before you're allowed to.

Unless you actually go and look you probably won't see one for a while, the first one I saw was on one of LJ's drug runs.

Highlight ---> I killed Francis (the cop one right?). If you kill Francis you get nothing off Derrick, if you kill Derrick you get to phone Francis to remove a 3 star wanted level. But the downside is that Packie gets pissed off if you kill Derrick to which i have no idea to what extent. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I killed Derrick and Packie didn't get pissed off at me, we are still friends and I've pass the story missions.
 
I got my PS3 + GTA IV bundle a week ago and have managed to clock up about 20 hours and completed just on 25%. I keep telling myself to make it last longer by doing some of the side missions, but I am so sucked into the story that I have pretty much done nothing but the main missions! :)

It really is pretty awesome all round. My only tip so far is to not hop in a car and drive around in real life after playing the game flat out for 5 hours, your perception may not be what it seems hahaha.
