Glad we picked up this guy over that hack Kane Lucas. Lucas has shocking disposal and only gets an inflated stats sheet due to the way Carlton play. I bet Ratten and co were cursing themselves on Saturday watching Gyssy tear it up.
Guy's, hearing Garry Lyon speak on Triple M after Saturdays game, he mentioned that 'shifter' Sheahen believes this kid could soon pass Scully & Trengove. Looking forward to those 3 in our midfield for the next 15 years.:D:D

I wouldn't be having a go at anyone when you look at Gysberts disposal. Very good by hand but by foot even Lucas is better.

i wouldnt be judging any player on his disposal in his first year... let alone his first two games

One of the realy good things I have noticed about this kid, is the ability to always be corridor side of the contest (if he isn't already in the contest)... It gives us a great option to be able to deliver the ball to a better position up the ground, rather than slow play around the wings...

There is also another player who has this ability (McKenzie), he deserves to be in the team aswell, but my question is, is there another team that plays more than one player who plays this style of game or is it a case that the 2 players would clog up the space that we are trying to create, so there for only one of the two will play in any one game, not together???

Not that I know the stats but this would surprise me. He was highly effective by both hand and foot through juniors. His overall effectiveness rate in his first 2 AFL games is excellent.

More of a case of the club not wanting to feild too many under 20's at one time I would have thought.

More than enough room for Gysberts and McKenzie in the same side.

Clearly another supporter who's never seen the Scorpions play. He needs to work on his kicking, but it's far better than you're insinuating.
