I will throw my hand up as someone who thought we should trade Sicily as part of the O'Meara deal as I thought he was a one dimensional and unreliable forward.

He is a weapon down back. Loose uni and the odd brain fart sure, but his marking, reading of the play, ball use and dash are enormous. Clarksons second biggest coaching move this year behind...

Howe. We used to get smashed in the midfield. This bloke has taken on and beaten Sloane, Pendlebury, Selwood and Kennedy. He has transformed us. We are no longer getting smashed at the clearances. At 21 years old he will only improve.

McEvoy is surely sitting second in our B&F and remains the only multiple premiership player who continues to enhance his reputation this year. Having a marvellous season that is going completely unnoticed externally.

Sicily was a lot worse we he first started, anyone else who saw him at Box Hill will remember. He's improved a lot re his hot hotheadedness but you don't want him to lose all of it as obviously getting fired up is part of what gets him motivated to play well. A long as he doesn't find himself getting suspended I have no problem with it. The stuff with Doc last week was completely overblown. Everyone in the team knows what he's like so Doc wouldn't have given it a second thought afterwards. Fair dinkum, the media are ridiculous sometimes.
