Whats the points limit for the MRP? I thought it was 500 points, 5 games. If so, Halls looking at a very long time off.

Don't worry, justice will be done in the end. This is all part of the AFL's master plan to let Sydney off the hook at the tribunal yet again.

Hopefully for the sake of all football fans Baz will escape any sort of punishment for his disgusting actions.

9 points - 7 weeks if they accept the guilty plea. 8 - 9 if not given the Baker and Johnson cases.

So if the MRP can dish upto 9 games. 7 with guitly plea, Hall is looking at 10+?

That grading lifted it above the number of activation points which equates to a set penalty, meaning Hall must face the tribunal on Tuesday night.

Is this saying that the MRP couldn't hand down set penalty points wise? Not looking good Baz.

You know what the funny thing is?

I think many BF posters are going to be extremely dissapointed if Baz gets the penalty he deserves. Most would have been hoping for only 4-5 weeks so that they could continue to whinge.

ANyone know about the other findings?

Other charges.

Meanwhile Geelong forward Ryan Gamble can accept a one-game suspension for striking St Kilda's Nick Dal Santo.

His Cats team-mate Cameron Mooney is facing a one-week ban for tripping
St Kilda's Leigh Montagna, while Dockers defender Steven Dodd is set to miss one match after being charged with the same offence.

Collingwood defender Nick Maxwell can accept a one-game suspension for striking Carlton's Marc Murphy.

Melbourne's Brad Miller is set to miss one match on a rough conduct charge.

What goes around comes around. Hall has already had his wrist broken which will see him on the sidelines for awhile anyway. Someone said a broken wrist takes about 8 weeks to heal before you can play again. The AFL can deal out a 'severe' punishment and appear to be in control and Sydney won't contest it because Hall will be on the sideline anyways. So Sydney look like they're 'accepting' the verdict and the AFL looks like the tough guy.

Its a win/win.

That not correct, the MRP can only charge and provide a penalty based on a set formula which according to Graham Bond came to 4 weeks for what Hall has done (strike, intentional, high contact etc).

The MRP have done the right thing by referring it to the tribunal as they beleive the penalty should be greater than 4 weeks.

At this stage it points to somewhere between 6 to 8 weeks.

Hall is a joke.

Apparently a blow to the head like that could cause major brain damage and even kill someone. Perhaps a bit higher and this could be so much more serious.
I think he will at least get 8 if not 10

Yep, definately another conspiracy going on here. Just ignore the fact that a broken wrist usually takes 4 weeks to heal.

No sh*t sherlock, all you have to do is look at the news from a Saturday night in any major city in Australia to realise that a punch can do damage.

Yep, the punches that several hundreds of other footy players have delivered over the years weren't dangerous at all.

Looking at the tribunal book 9 activation points just says "Tribunal" so I'm looking at what happened previously.

Johnson on Bell - reckless conduct (2 points), severe impact (4) and high contact (2) - 750 demerit points and 7 matches.

Hall on Staker - Intentional (3), severe impact (4) and high contact (2)

Looks like 8 to me. Interesting is that the Tribunal deem kicking and charging as worse than striking. 9 if they add 2005 points without any deduction for plea.

Doesn't really matter what punishment he is given, all you Eagle scum will complain that it is too soft anyway, even if Hall is rubbed out for the rest of the season.

Poor form by some of you Eagle scum:thumbsdown:

Bit of a contradiction in your poorly posted statement there, halfwit.
