It really is unfortunate when injuries prevent a player reaching his full potential, not only for us, but also when he was at North.
Unfortunately he cost us dearly in the finals .

Loved watching the ball bounce off his chest when he was on a lead.
Steve Hooper was probably our worst pick up though. Only time we'd ever received a number 1 pick, and we wasted it on him.
It wasn't the most productive draft. You have to go to pick 49 to find someone who played more than 100 games in the AFL. In fact only three players drafted played more than 100 games for there club. The most famous being James Hird at pick 79

Hamish is playing for Strathmore in the EDFL next year apparently.

Well it was going to happen at the end of the year anyway and if he needs surgery, then playing again is out of the question.
Bad luck, he was a good player at times for Norf, just didn't hit our high hopes.
